Hotel Baia d'Oro - Adults Only

Everything about this Hotel was exceptional! Great location walking distance to Gargnano center, spacious room and bathroom, very clean, cozy and tidy. Excellent service, the most friendly and helpful staff ever creating very warm relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and generous breakfasts, stunning views to Garda Lake. Hotel has convenient pier with comfortable sunbeds, direct access to the lake, where you can also conveniently arrive by the boat and park. It was a great choice for my vacation, definitely recommend it! I would like to thank the owner and all the staff (Domenico, Giulia, Lorenzo, Michele, housekeeping lady) for their special care during my stay and for the attention to all the details, creating unforgettable memories! Thank you and hope to see you soon again!

Booked to stay 3 nights for our 1st leg of a two week trip to the Italian Lakes The location is down a narrow street and when you enter you can see the lake from the reception , just lurking behind the terrace. The hotel is so quaint The hub is really the terrace and it’s own jetty which has a few deck chairs The owner is eccentric but this adds to the charm The main waiter is charming, if not a little bit forgetful with food orders, but his charm and friendliness meant you could forgive him almost anything. Our room on the 3rd floor had a sizeable private terrace which offered glimpses of Lake Garda. The room was immaculate Breakfast was served on the terrace and was plentiful We loved it o much here ( ambiance and location) that we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again and would try and book the 2nd floor suite overlooking the lake.

We read the great reviews of this hotel and my daughter and I stayed for 2 nights. We had room 1 which has a lovely balcony and very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. When we arrived a lady came to reception asked us "name" then "Passport" and you are on the 3rd floor that was it, no welcome, or explaining about the hotel. We were taken to our room, which was very nice. We went to have a look around and to have a sit on the pier and one staff member said are you staying here - which we replied yes and then ignored us. There were a lot of Italian and German guests who all seemed to receive VIP treatment, but sadly we were ignored for our stay. When we came to breakfast on our first morning we were taken to a table and then no one came to us for over 15 minutes, the owner was talking to some German guests and I asked him he we could be served and he then called to another waiter who said we would have to wait! Eventually we were bought the standard breakfast which was very nice. We had booked to eat in the hotel restaurant on our second night but decided as the service appeared to be slow and we did not feel welcome we would go to the town. The service continued like this for our whole stay and made us feel uncomfortable which was such a shame. The hotel is charming and in a great location, but as I said they did not appear to like the English! or at least a mother and daughter! The town is close by and charming with some great cafe's restaurants and boat tours, highly recommend the area.

Ho recentemente soggiornato presso la Baia D’Oro. Avevo scelto questa struttura sia per la posizione che per le recensioni positive, ma ci sono stati un paio di aspetti che mi hanno lasciato insoddisfatto. L'hotel si trova in una posizione riservata; camera particolarmente carina per l’arredamento, confort, vista. Albergo e camera erano molto puliti e ordinati, con un'attenzione ai dettagli che ho apprezzato.  Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile. La colazione abbondante e varia con prodotti di qualità. Non è a buffet ma il cameriere è gentile e disponibile e il servizio è veloce. Viene servita nei pressi del molo, la vista è eccezionale. Purtroppo la cena è stata un esperienza negativa: servita nello stesso luogo della colazione ma con piatti risultati molto deludenti e dai prezzi decisamente esagerati per le proposte culinarie offerte. Il personale si trova a gestire un’organizzazione che lascia molto a desiderare. È davvero un peccato, considerando che quando si decide di adottare prezzi così elevati (da italiani) ci si aspetta un’esperienza gastronomica all’altezza, sia per la qualità dei piatti che per la professionalità del servizio. Se cercate un hotel esclusivo, tranquillo con ottima colazione questa pare essere una buonissima scelta. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante esistono altre opzioni in zona ben gestite e più convenienti che offrono proposte culinarie con miglior rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Location accattivante Proprietario molto solare e capace nel suo mestiere, stile anni 90 primi del 2000 il menù. Prezzi un po sopra le aspettative.

Ein perfekter Ort, um die Seele hängen zu lassen. Das kleine Hotel wird von sympathischen Gastgebern geführt, die einem zu jedem Zeitpunkt verwöhnen. Das Zimmer war sehr gut eingerichtet und das geräumige Bad bot alles, was man sich wünscht. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der zimmereigene Balkon mit Seesicht ein Traum. Das Restaurant bietet Küche auf höchstem Niveau. Dieses Hotel kann man nur empfehlen!

Hôtel trop trop loin de tout... Le 1er village est à 8km en montant .. mauvais marcheurs s abstenir ! La nourriture est répétitive et pas de bonne qualité. Le all exclusive reste à désirer car a certaine heure et certains boissons sont payantes.

Auf meine Empfehlung haben Freunde eine offizielle und bestätigte Buchung Anfang September 2022 in diesem Hotel vorgenommen. Leider ohne Erfolg, bei Ankunft (nach 6 Stunden Autofahrt) waren die 3 Zimmer nämlich überbucht und nicht mehr verfügbar. Unglaublich! Vor allem, da ich selbst dort offtmals perfekt genächtigt habe. Das neue Hotel war 30 Minuten entfernt, das gebuchte Restaurant am Abend im Ort Gargnano nur per Taxi erreichbar. Mit einem Wort eine große Enttäuschung für meine Freunde und für mich, die mehrmals schon dort war - wenn man sich auf bestätigte Buchungen nicht mehr verlassen kann, ist das ein Grund nicht mehr hin zu fahren - Schade!
