Alpenlove - Adult Spa Hotel

If the hotel is anything like the a la carte restaurant downstairs, I'd suggest steering clear. Our recent family dinner there was marred by a waitress whose demeanor was both rude and uncooperative from the outset. Instead of providing helpful assistance, she responded to any inquiries about the menu by simply pointing to its contents. Even basic tasks, such as orderly pouring drinks, seemed beyond her capabilities. Despite paying €45 for a steak, she insisted it could only be cooked to "medium," disregarding our preferences. When we inquired about side options for the steak, her response was dismissive, accompanied by a smirk. Our attempts to address these issues with her were met with defensive arguing and subsequently storming off without a word, prompting her male colleague to take over our table. While the gentleman provided better service, the overall experience was still disappointing. We had ordered three appetizers, which arrived only after the main course, because they forgot about them. One of the appetizers, the beef tartare, arrived completely cold, as if it had been hastily retrieved from the fridge. Furthermore, the €45 steak, supposed to be cooked to "medium", was served "well done", and the wienerschnitzel was simply inedible. Towards the end of the meal, the same rude waitress returned to inquire about dessert options, only to react angrily once again when we declined. It was only after her departure that her colleague offered dessert on the house as an apology, which we politely refused. Despite the unpleasant experience, we were charged full price for our meals. Overall this restaurant provided service of an amateurish standard.

Loved our stay at the hotel- reception staff was great - had to change rooms upon arrival and that went geat- good advise on skiing ! Spa was good and treatments - food great and location

Big hotel in the city center. Good news: Large room Very clean bathroom Simple but sufficient furnishing Very good bed. Good service personnel and a lot of it. A bit impersonal and not all equally friendly but efficient and helpful. Great breakfast The concept of the hotel seems to be to combine an overnight stay with a sauna/spa experience. We stopped over in Seefeld on our way from Italy to the Netherlands and that concept turned out to fit in extremely well. Not so good news: The size of the hotel makes it impersonal: it tries hard to keep up with the expectations one has about your old fashioned Tyrolean "Pension" but it is, in fact, a machine. The underground garage is difficult to reach (you have to cross a pedestrian zone - something my NAV did not like at all), then leave the car in front of the garage door, walk to reception, get your electronic key, then enter the garage, to find that the parking spaces are small and the lower parking deck is only reachable by ... a car elevator! So if you have a somewhat bigger car, are a less experienced driver than Max Verstappen, suffer from claustrophobia or are easily impressed (all of which was true to some degree between me and my wife) - do not book this garage. Bad news: The hotel lacks maintenance. See pictures. The first floor corridor smells of fryer fumes from the kitchen. Hygiene in the SPA area is far from satisfactory. Staff: try having a look at the back side of the swinging seats in the resting area or pass your hand under the benches of the steam room. A thick layer of filth piled up there for what seems to be years. Yuck. Price performance: Seefeld has become very popular lately. The sleepy alpine town has evolved into a rather oppressing tourist devouring monster that has more features of a theme park than of a cute little mountain community, with dozens of restaurants all serving virtually the same, predictable, average food. Seefeld, over the past few years, has become a characterless, homogenous, faceless tourist factory owned by Austrian project developers and mostly run by (very friendly and talented) Slovak and Hungarian migrant workers. Prices are high, also for this hotel. Price/performance, therefore, is not good. In short: On our next trip to Italy we will seek a smaller town with less tourists and more authenticity, hoping to rediscover the apfelstrudel we once ate in Seefeld so many years ago - fresh and crunchy and served with crème anglaise, not re-heated in a microwave oven, sloppy , with vanilla custard out of a plastic bucket.

Lovely experience Really enjoyed our time at this hotel, food was plentiful and nice quality. Our only problem was know what all the spa treatments actually did. Wonderful pool area and many rooms set off it but we didn’t really know what they offered. In saying everything else was great, staff rooms and bar area.

Nice spa with good selection of saunas made us return to this hotel. Rooms are spacious but getting old. Beds would also need improvement. Staff was very friendly. Half-board provided good (old fashioned) dinners. Good choice as the town is short of good restaurants. Problem: rooms are super hot and heating system is so old fashioned they cannot adjust the temperature. This makes guests keep door or window open - in the middle of the winter! Imagine the CO2 emissions from excess heating… While modern hotels already implement their environmental plans, this place should catch up!

All in all a decent experience but at this price one could also get more from a hotel of this class. Very central location but this is not always an advantage as due to the hotel being next to the church, you get a lot of noise from the bells. Breakfast and food in general decent and staff friendly. Cleanliness should be improved.

Absolutely amazing , stunning location, hotel was so beautiful, photos don’t do it justice ! Breakfast was lovely , all that was missing was some extra pillows and tea making facilities in the room, had a nespresso machine in the room which was amazing for me but my husband only drinks tea. Can’t wait to go back!

there was no hot water from 3 pm until the next morning !!! so after using the pool we cant took a shower so we were with Chlorine all night . the staff ignored us, wasnt care and we weren't compensated at all. also in breakfast the staff was unpleasant. when we checked out instead of apology we recived a tes-tube with salt - HA HA HA

This is an excellent hotel for the price. It is clearly geared towards couples and a romantic getaway. However, I had a single room with a balcony and dinner. The room was clean and large with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a little dated but clean and functional. The facilities are excellent, large sun terrace big pool and wellness area. The food is outstanding and there is a lot of it. Your room has a table assigned so no fighting for seats. The hotel is located in the main square of this picture post card town. It has a park garage but a much cheaper option was the lake car park (car park 2) where a 24hr ticket was only 4E about a third of the hotel. I would definitely return.
