OZO George Town Penang

We have a 3 nights stay in this hotel. The very first impression to this hotel is below average. Reception lobby is situated on the 20th level of the building. Hence once you arrive, you will be attended by a frontline officer who act as a carpark controller as well as baggage caretaker. Female Receptionist Yogie's attitude do not make me feel too welcoming, not friendly and not helpful at all. Lukily, when is time to check in, a male receptionist who is much friendly attended to us. Another compliment should be given to the housekeeper Mr Shibu, who did his job excellently and very friendly despite his "one-man show " doing all the rooms cleaning from 9am till 5pm. If you not lazy to walk, my advise to you is not to take their Buffet Breakfast, not much choice, not worth it. Famous Chowrasta Market and Hutton Lane Roti Bakar and many more is within walking distance. Finally, will I return to this hotel again? My answer is No

As i saw the hotel is good in position, you can easily go to Penang street art and Penang street food by Grab, only 7 RM, if you like to walk then this hotel is a best choice. You need to pay 50RM as deposite and they will give you back money after you check out. They return to me 13 RM and i do not know why i lost 37RM although i do not use anything from hotel. I am supper busy and almost late the flight so i do not complain or ask reason, but you need to check with them if you face same case with me. Disadvantage of this hotel is the elevator, it is quite slow and i hate the elevator. I stay at 12 floor and it took 5 mins only for go down. I also hate the breakfast because 10 days is same, nothing change. The first day and second day is really good but the 3rd day, i cannot eat anymore. The view of this hotel is nice because you can see all the city at night. In general, this hotel is also ok but if i go back Penang next time, i hope breakfast will change. Ah, this hotel have the pool outside, is nice for you to swim and look the city. Very romantic.

Myself and friend stayed here for 2 nights, the room was very good, didn’t expect that. Very recommended !

More than 10 times staying at this hotel until the security already known us 😁 i had been try so many hotel at penang. But ozo would be my favourite. If they can provide something special for their regular customer like me would be more happy staying here.

This room type is awesome for families and friends located on the 20th floor I believe. There is a living room with dining and lounge areas connected to the King bed and Twin bed rooms. Main bathroom was spacious with a huge bathtub while the Twin bed room's toilet had a basic shower which sufficed. Beds were comfortable and pillows were of good quality, soft yet supportive. Just felt that the sheets were slightly dusty. The sound proofing isn't 100% perfect but the slight noise from neighbours were bearable. Other than that I really recommend this room type, value for money location and design.

Overall is good. The room is big and clean. However, a very small incident happens at the shower area is clogged, give a call to the front desk, and the maintenance team comes right after the call—a very fast response. Thumbs up to the staff there.

Very good new hotel in business since 2022. Reception at level 20 , city view from top and the breakfast place at level 21, atmosphere is good and breakfast is nice . The room with full glass windows, all good view at night and day times !! We enjoyed our stay and would like to recommend it to friend ls who will visit Penang!!
