The staff is very nice and polite. Experienced water leaking at the bedroom ceilings, the staff changed room for us and apologies politely with a sparking drink. The environment is nice which equipped with gym and swimming pool. The hotel is located in the center of George Town where it make travel to attractions much more easy. They also provide free shuttle bus in the morning to famous breakfast places.

- the interior looks like a 5 star hotel
- staffs knows their job. very helpful and efficient. I can say that their service is up to 5 star hotel level. Superb👍🏻

Ive tried to cancel this booking after i booked it. Because ive read one comment in google, that saying this hotel dont have its own restaurant. but then its too late. The hotel rejected my cancellation request.
I came here for work. its a hassle for me to go and find some food before going to work. Its really distressing.
- At times, the bathroom became smelly due to cigarette smoke which came from the air vent in the toilet. Maybe due to its malfunction or something. bcoz the vent suppose o suck out the smells in the toilet, not suck in the smell from other rooms. 😓😓 and obviously someone in the other room was smoking.
and before i check out, they asked me multiple times, if i smoke in the room. bcause they will charge RM500 penalty.
Im not a smoker and im allergic to cigarette smoke. i sneeze non stop. its really bugging me.

Good and friendly service overall. Happy with the room. But it can be noisy as the room is next to the automatic car park block. Wifi and water dispenser also down in one of the days that we stayed but they fixed it quickly after we called.

Did not regret booking Granite as my stay in Penang, with it's location smacked in the middle of George town it is very accessible to various attractions and eateries.

The hotel location is fantastic. It's near to shopping malls and the attractions and restaurants are walking distance. We are very disappointed with the room. The room that we were allocated, one of the room's aircon was not working and they sent the technicians to repair it. We requested for a changed of room as it still cannot be resolved after about an hour. We finally moved to our new room after more than 1 hour of waiting.
I was kind of looking forward in staying this hotel but the actual vs the photos in the website is very different.
There were 2 bedrooms and only 1 is with attached bathroom, the other one is next to the common bathroom at the dinning area. The whole area is very minimalist kind of environment.
Toilet has no extra hooks for hanging of clothes. So you'll have to put your clothes or towel by putting the toilet seat cover. The shower screen does not even help the water from splashing out, therefore the floor map is always wet. There is no toilet paper holder and no place for you to put your shower gel etc in the shower room.
Throughout the whole day, there is this noise that sounds the aircon compressor sound it's very irritating as it affected my sleep.
Overall the hotel service from the attendances are good as they try to attend to the problems but the facilities and the experience we had. I will not recommend or come back again. Totally disappointed!!!

We have a three nights stay at this hotel. It is really a convenient place to travel to most of the attractions and good food. Beside the hot weather, we have a eonderful and enjoyable stay in this hotel. Will choose this hotel agdin for our next visit. Staffs here are mostly friendly and helpful. Grab car to anywhere is do much affordable than Singapore.

Granite Luxury Hotel is a nice place to stay in. I booked room type that has got separate living room and bedroom. Stayed for 4nights. It is almost like an air BnB - cutleries and induction cooker available upon request.
I requested for late check out, request not able to be matched but was offered a resting area similar to a room with shower facilities and sofa bed for a few hours - another bonus point added 😉
Room is very clean and location is superb. I truly enjoy my stay
