Super 8 by Wyndham Giddings

Ice machine wasn't working. When you pulled the thing to turn on the shower, it still came out the spigot. Burn holes in the bed spread and the blanket. The breakfast was a joke. The milk was set out in a pitcher so it was warm.

Mini fridge didn't work which led to issues with my cat's prescription food. Faucet sprayed water all over the bathroom counter. Room was humid and stuffy even with a/c running, would not want to stay there outside of winter (it was in the 60s out during our stay) The provided breakfast consisted of stale hostess ding dongs and donuts, waffle station, and cereal. Will not be returning.

Our room wasn't in good shape. The bathroom ceiling had quite a bit of mold on it, there were cobwebs with spiders on the bedroom walls, and we found crumbs.. or something.. in both beds when we pulled the covers to go to sleep. The room did come with coffee, coffee pot, and a working refrigerator.

We spent one night there. It was ok. No bed bugs which was my biggest worry. Tons on dead beetles outside the door and in parking lot. We had a nonsmoking room, but i wonder if it was a smoking room at some point, because there was a faint smell. It could possibly be pulled through ventilation. The AC worked really well, so huge plus. The bathroom needed updating, the tv is tiny, but the beds are comfy. We didnt go to breakfast so we can't review it.

The stay was good but the property of the room needs up dated like the toilet was loos from the floor and it would move around while using it… the shower head was broken so water would go everywhere… the shower curtain does not close properly the room smelled very musky… but other than that it was a decent stay

Super 8 Giddings is an average Property, but in Giddings, you don't have much to choose from. Only one property in town is a better property, but twice the price. I stay in Giddings several times a year and refuse to pay twice the price for the small difference. It's clean, could use a refresh, and comfortable, but don't expect a Resort experience.

An older, property, but still one of the two best in Giddings. It's comfortable and clean, however, dated. My room had a refrigerator and Microwave, but the microwave didn't work. Breakfast was offered, but consisted of cold cereal, toast, Waffles, and packages Hostess Danish.

Large Roach in the light fixture. No safety latch on entry door, it had been removed. Chair in room leans to one side. Smoke detector had been removed only mount remained. Looks to have been remodeled by amateurs piss poor workmanship thru out room. Telephone in room didn’t work. Breakfast was waffle or cereal or out of date by 30 day donuts. Bed said to be a queen it’s a full. Shower head needed to have been replaced a long time ago. Sprayed and poured at the same time. So all in all won’t stay there again.

I liked the free breakfast that was set up even early in the morning. And very easy checkin/check out process
