Hotel Asturias

My 3rd. visit to this hotel was very disappointing. Previously I had spacious, though dated, rooms in keeping with the elegance of the building. This time, however I was faced with dark, narrow, badly lit corridors to the room. The room was not very large and furnished with MDF furniture that was of the Ibis type (2Star) with no drawers and minimal wardrobe space covered by only one door. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath but the sealant was discoloured and incomplete with a shower screen that did not seal, so water escaped to the floor. The water pressure was not very high for the shower and the hand basin was cracked. The A/C was controlled from reception and not the room. It was eventually set at 23 and could not be turned off. The hotel had a discounted car park some distance away beyond the yachting harbour which I didn't use. I used the one on the Prom. that had deals with other hotels but not the Asturias. The maximum non-discounted rate was €24 for 24 hours which was worth it for the convenience. An extra chair was provided in the room but there was not enough room for it. My previous stays were booked directly with the hotel by phone, I don't know if that made any difference to the case, but I would not recommend this hotel for anyone but the desperate.

Hotel muy bien situado, camas cómodas y habitación triple espaciosa. Desayuno incluido Probablemente se puedan encontrar hoteles más baratos, pero tener el puerto y la playa de San Lorenzo a la misma distancia y muy cerca, merece la pena cuando no vas mucho tiempo Recomendable

Hotel viejo,falta de renovación ,olor a humedad muy fuerte. El armario lleno de húmedad. Mala experiencia. Desayuno simple. No recomendable, muy incómodoS, habitación pequeña. En general todo el mundo seco,enfadado,nada amable. Todo mejorable
