Destiny Scotland Apartments at Nelson Mandela Place

Stayed in superior apt which was fab. I could live there easy. Spacious with everything you need and more. Spacious bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need. The location is central surrounded by bars and restaurants. My go to apar**ent when next in Glasgow

I purchase the accommodation via Trip.com. Trip.com did not use my email address or telephone number with my booking with the supplier. The access code to the front door of Destiny Scotland Apar**ents at Nelson Mandela Place is the last 4 numbers of the provided telephone number as a result my wife and I were locked out on a bitterly cold and wet Glasgow evening. After using the intercom, for assistance, the CSO refused to entry because my security details, email and telephone number, did not match. Luckily my friend was also staying at the same apar**ent and we used her access code to enter the lobby and get out of the freezing weather. The next morning, I rang Destiny Scotland Apar**ents to discuss last nights debacle, but Nima, the customer service manager was unsympathetic, dismissive, arrogant and rude. It was obvious by the conversation that this was not the first time that this had happened as she asked if I had used a third party travel agent and that I should have booked directly with them. I raised that, given the multiple incidences, that Destiny Scotland should email their resellers to confirm the correct procedures, Nima huffed back, that they have thousands of resellers and that it was my responsibility. I also mentioned that it was a multi storey building and that there were no lifts and that this should be mentioned in there listing as my friend is a 86 year old grandmother who had to unpack her overnight bag and carry the contents up in multiple smaller loads. Nima snapped back saying that is was an old building and lifts were not an expectation. This is 2023 and I have been to many old buildings with multiple lifts. The lack of empathy and wiliness to assist and blaming the customer is not on. While paying my way through university at a 5 star international hotel, my supervisor told me that the job description was in the name Hospitality and to be above all else HOSPITABLE. There are better options elsewhere.

5* accommodation. Great location with easy keyless entry to main entrance and apar**ent. Very well appointed with quality fittings.

Great location, Glasgow centre. Good amenities. Steps to shopping, groceries, transit. I was on the second floor and the only noise disturbance was a lone drunk in the street one night. TV reception in the apar**ent was very spotty but most visitors can tolerate that.

Property was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Towels were luxurious, and it was just a couple minutes walk to the Royal Mile. Great restaurants close by and easy walk to grocery stores. Luggage storage available before and after check-in/check-out.

Modern city studio apar**ents with all you need for enjoying Glasgow. The kitchenette was well equipped, coffee and tea were available, and it was nice to have a washer for quick refresh of clothing. Well sized rooms. It can be a bit noisy, but you are very central in the city and with the windows closed it is quiet.

I love that its directly in the city near everything. Its clean and tje appartement is cute

Great location. Very nice amenities in the apar**ent. Loved having a washer/dryer. Very comfortable bed. No lift, so difficult dealing with luggage up and down flights of stairs.

Lovely spacious studio apar**ent, everything you could need. Clean and comfortable. Close to Queen Street station. Only gripe would be the hairdryer only blows out cold so took 1/2 an hour to dry my hair, even then not completely dry. TV could be bigger as hard to see from the opposite site of the apar**ent.
