The hotel is close to our Glasgow office. I find they have really friendly staff, easy check in process, nice comfortable room at a reasonable price. Close to amenities so easy to walk to a restaurant in the evening and Glasgow centre. I recommend this place.

The hotel is situated in a very nice neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and respond very fast to requests (i.e. request for an additional towel or blanket). The hotel is easily approached via public transportation, 7-day supermarket is nearby. Walls are not sound proof, so if you are very sensitive with the sound, the place is not recommended. We are not supersensitive to noise, and despite we could listen to our neighbor's alarm, we didn't encounter noise problems. The prices were very rational for the area. Breakfast items (tee, coffee, chocolate etc) were provided in the room for free. I could definitely visit this place again.

We stayed here for a weekend and it was very nice indeed. The host couldn’t do enough for you (Kevin), he was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated, near lots of bars and restaurant. In fact there is a restaurant below the hotel which is great. The room was adequate and the breakfast was extremely good. All in all it was a good stay.

The position was ideal, close to many west end restaurants, bars and cafes. It was also walking distance to the city centre. We did not have breakfast but this suited us. It was very quiet in our room, double glazing meant there was no traffic noise. The room was small however for the cost we felt it was great value.

Acorn Hotel is a nice, classic Scottish hotel, with small, but fair enough sized rooms, clean bathroom and public spaces, friendly staff, and nice warm as well as continental breakfast. Located close to the university, it perfectly served my interests.

An excellent boutique hotel. Alan was brilliant and the perfect host. Can’t recommend this little gem of a hotel enough. Superb breakfast and service.

Super comfortable beds nice views from the room we were in, nice space in general. Great location. My only complaint: nothing but decaf coffee in the room! Somebody needs to ensure the staff pays attention to that. Excellent location by the park. Note; we did t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Lots of great cafes nearby.
