I am reaching out in hopes that this post will influence your company to refund money that was paid to you for a room that was canceled by you. Our family of five was part of the distressed AA flight 879 that was delayed overnight on March 23. I booked the room while on the airlplane waiting to deplane when our flight was delayed because of crew timing out. When we got off the plane, my husband called your front desk and confirmed the reservation. We spent $100 on taxi to your hotel, you held our bags for us while we went to eat at your restaurant before it closed. When we finished dinner, went to get room assignment and you told us your actually didn't have a room. We took another $100 taxi to Sommerset where we ended up getting a room. I called Wednesday after we finally got back home and spoke to your reservations department which confirmed in fact we did not stay with you and the room had been canceled by you. ******* still has not been able to get you to give back our almost $2400 for one night. Apparently your company is giving them a hard time. Please resolve this.
