Some of our key features include: --->Two King Suites with en suite bathrooms and 3rd bunk room ---> Brand new 7 seater hot tub with front row seat to the views under an ambient lighted pergola ---> Panoramic mountain views from all angles of the house and grounds ---> 3.3 acres (most of this land is steep mountainous forest providing complete privacy) at the highest property in this mountain community with USFS land behind ours. ---> Firepit and outdoor grill with seating and picnic table ---> Beautiful porch with fairy lights, rocking chairs, dining bar, checkers table, and double egg chair for unwinding and soaking in the peaceful mountain views ---> High speed Starlink Wifi ---> Provided coffee and tea with Keurig and drip style coffee makers and electric tea kettle ---> Washer/dryer --->Car wash station to get your ride ready for the Tail of the Dragon Main level suite boasts a beautiful cottage-style King suite with en-suite bathroom and stunning mountain views from the bedroom window. Take a trip to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park at Deep Creek, just 30 minutes from the property and enjoy a day of tubing on the river, hiking, mountain biking, or just soaking in the beauty. Enjoy a day on either of two beautiful lakes within twenty minutes drive. Lake Fontana or Lake Santeetlah both offer boat rentals, kayaks, jetskis and swimming for maximum enjoyment. Videos of the drive can be viewed by searching for "Azure Heights drive up from main road" on the world's largest video platform. -In the winter months, if snow or ice is present, parking further down & walking up may be required, ask about this before booking. -We allow up to 4 vehicles on the property (2 motorcycles count as 1 vehicle). Trailers are not permitted on the property. -We have regular pest control treatments and do everything we can to mitigate critters. However, this is an older cottage home and surrounded by forest. It is impossible to prevent all bugs from entering the home. Cabin owners in the Smoky Mountains in the fall and winter months deal especially with ladybugs & stinkbugs trying to enter the house to overwinter. We provide a hand vacuum to easily remove the few that get past all our preventative measures.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Portable floor crib, toys, baby monitor provided.About customRules:We recommend 4 wheel drive as the mountain roads are paved but steep. We had a great stay here. The property was very clean and well maintained. The views of the valley below were beautiful. Communication with the host was very easy and she responded to emails quickly. Definitely interested in staying here again. Five stars all around.

We were looking for a quiet place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, this place was perfect. We loved the old farmhouse, everything was clean and many of our needs were anticipated. We had read about the driveway so we went to the grocery store before checking in. We were pleased with our stay and would come back.

They supplied all of the cooking equipment and commonly used items that people forget to buy when staying at a place like this. The number of times I've had to go out to buy salt, spices, oil, trash bags, etc, when staying at a place like this has been insane. I'm soooo happy these guys supply all this stuff, especially when it's in a remote location where accessing the grocery store is time consuming. Well done!
