Comfort Inn Grand Junction I-70

Rats, Rats, Rats. I stayed here the beginning of November. When laying in bed and I seen something move through the mirror under the bed around our luggage, it was a rat! My BF chased the rat into the connecting suite and put a towel under the door and went and told the front desk.I complained about rats in the room to the front desk three times. The first time they said they’d let management know. Second time I was told by a gentleman that it’s just cold outside and rats come in, which was followed with a shrug. The third time I asked for a refund checking out and was told that I had to call corporate and she didn’t really seem to care. I called corporate who told me to call the manager at the hotel and then was told to call the third party I booked with. Totally fair. HOWEVER I was refunded TWENTY DOLLARS on a 200$ stay. The hotel staff is saying I lied about telling them three times (one time should have been enough for a refund but i digress) even though I can point out the staff I told and refuse to give me the name of the man who checked me in which should be time stamped with name or initials or who was working in that time. (The man who checked me in was the first to be told about the rats) the staff is very unprofessional and refuses to be honest or helpful. I called them a total of five times trying to get a refund at which trip.com (who I booked through) told me they are in the wrong but they can’t make them refund me. The hotels disregard for pests in the rooms and even less regard for their guests is appalling. The third party I booked with is escalating the concern up the chain. Just fair warning if you expect a clean and pest free stay with staff who are friendly, this ain’t it.

It was a cute little place. The room was clean and looked like it had been newly renovated. It’s located away from the hustle and bustle of the highway so it has a more peaceful sleep atmosphere. If we’re ever again this away it will be our resting place!!!!

Convenient location but not clean. Housekeepers are doing the bare minimum unfortunately. Our room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Old, smelly rooms.

The comforter on the bed was stained and dirty. Room was in okay shape. Overall decent.

It was mostly good. The room was large and comfortable. The staff pleasant and welcoming. But apparently ice is only accessible til a certain time.

This was a great stop on my trip back home. Very clean, very friendly, affordable and helpful staff. I will stay here again!

It’s an older hotel, but quite clean, and the things that matter simply over the top. I had the best night of sleep on a very comfortable queen bed mattress. I used my own pillow but the beds had 4 plush pillows. The sink and uncluttered vanity was separate from the tub and toilet. Instant hot water when I turned on the shower and the bath towels were thick and plush. The room temperature was easy to regulate, and the steady fan was conducive to an uninterrupted night of sleeping. Breakfast options included hot and cold food choices. My dinner was at a nearby Italian restaurant, convenient and delicious. This Comfort Inn is true to its title. Very comfortable!

Sounded like an elephant stomping the floor above us. Rattled our windows and tried to knock pictures off the wall. Complained at desk but stomping continued. First ever complaint at Comfort Inn!

The Comfort Inn personnel were all great. However, ******* stinks and failed us on our reservations at a lower cost. Reserved both Saturday and Sunday and ******* only reserved Sunday, mean people!
