Oscar winning movie, The Help was shot in Greenwood using it as its backdrop. Greenwood is easily accessible from Memphis, TN and Jackson, MS and within reach to many famous towns of Mississippi Delta.
We are located right along the highway and within a two-mile distance to the downtown, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Our goal is to provide you a comfortable stay in our spacious, clean luxurious rooms that are equipped with flat screen televisions, a refrigerator, hot shower, 24-hour coffee and free Wi-Fi.
Our 100% non-smoking hotel has two floors with no elevator access. Enjoy a free full hot breakfast every morning that includes eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, various pastries and breads, yogurt, cold cereals, juice, coffee, and tea. We have many open areas to enjoy, play, meet or conduct business meetings, family events, or large functions that can accommodate up to hundred guests.
The outdoor and indoor combination pool is seasonal and is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Our basketball court and swimming pool offer you unique open space to have fun and relaxation. We do offer a limited number of pet-friendly rooms for a deposit and standard fees. Coin-operated laundry machines and vending machines are available round the clock. I was disappointed to learn that there is a fee to take the complimentary breakfast to your room. I prefer to eat in peace and privacy in my own room. Luckily I was alone in the breakfast area and could eat in peace otherwise I would have trashed my plate and checked out. I’ve paid for my room and I’ve paid the incidental fee which by the way is too much! $100. Are these fees actually used to fix and repair? Because my grab bar in the bath tub has a huge hole and needs to be replaced. Picture below.
I should not have to pay to carry out my free plate to my room.

Very spacious, clean room. This property does not have an elevator which makes taking things to room a little difficult but it would not hinder us from staying here again. Overall very nice hotel.

From the moment of check in the guest service lady was extremely nice and warm. We came from Illinois and she said she will be my aunt for the day. LOl! I didn't see her anymore. The room was very nice. My son and I loved the bed and the pillows, felt really good. Would recommend this stay in the future.

Sheqeria is the best hostess/receptionist at this location. She knows how to help make clients feel welcome. She thinks out of the box to address issues and make them non-issues, which is probably why I had none to report.
Next best is Talesia, but I only encountered her once, at checkout.
The two ladies in the breakfast room are both excellent, as is the breakfast itself.
My stay was so good, I extended by three days, one day at a time.

Arrival and check-in went smoothly. The hotel was very clean, our room was fresh and clean. Surrounding area was quiet during sleeping hours. The breakfast was good and the ladies in the breakfast area were very pleasant.
When checking out the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant as well.

It was pretty okay stayed there two nights I enjoyed myself I felt pretty safe but it was pretty noisy I could hear the people above and beside me. The bed was pretty comfortable
