Hampton Inn and Suites Guymon

Nice hotel. Modern design. We use the digital check-in and key so went straight to the room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. Room was relatively quiet and staff was friendly. The only negative would be how loud the air conditioner is. That seems to be standard for most hotels though. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a harrowing experience at this site on July 20 around 12:30 AM . This was the day the Crowdstrike IT outage occurred. Upon my arrival, there was a harrowing storm. A man with a roller bag was standing outside and indicated the reservations were all cancelled because of the IT outage. I proceeded inside. The desk personnel was immediately confrontive. She was aggressively saying 'everything's cancelled, you cannot stay here.' I never even was able to say my name or my confirmation number. My room had been paid for---for two nights. I had received two confirmation emails from Hilton around 11 AM, even after the CrowStrike outage had been resolved. All day, the entire trip, there had been no indication on my devices of a cancellation at this location. The desk personnel woman had zero customer relations skills. She was verbally aggressive. I never even asked about a refund. There was no chance. She said several times we should go to the Quality Inn. She described that she wouldn't want us getting into a room that already had people in it, and that no one had been able to check in for four hours (so, that would have been 8 PM-12AM). The man, standing outside, was waiting for this woman to drive him to the Quality Inn, which was 100 yards away. She was going to leave the hotel and literally drive him there. He re-entered the lobby and began to aggressively speak to me and my family, threatening us, swearing, debasing us, indicating he would fracture our skulls. The desk personnel joined in with the man. She was demanding we leave the lobby in the storm before I could find another place to stay. We began recording the beratement. I had driven 14 hours. It was unreal. In other reviews, I see that his site has a pattern of reselling rooms in which people are very late checking in. The General Manager, Lorena Ochoa De Torres, is very difficult to reach. I am on my fourth attempt. I have a corporate complaint number and case, and unfortunately for this employee, a video. I am refraining from posting a photo of this employee here. She served herself coffee as she was demanding we leave without a place to stay.

Very disappointing stay for a variety of reasons - I have stayed at this location 3 other times - guymon is a great stopping point for traveling from our home to the angel fire - red river nm areas Never again ( yes to guymon no to Hampton Inn Guymon ) When we arrived at about 3:30 on Saturday June 29 the parking lot was full of work trucks with numerous men drinking and smoking in the parking lot it has apparently become an extended stay location for work crews Breakfast was bad at best - offerings and quality where not what I would expect no fruit no yogurt no pastries One very thin - small bath towel person This is a relatively new location and it is in need of lots of repair On the positive side the location was clean and the staff was friendly I am a Hilton honors member and during this trip we stayed in two other hampton inn locations ( white rock nm - 2 nights and elk city ok 1 night ) with much better results

I have been a loyal customer of the Hampton Inn in Guymon, Oklahoma for several years and have stayed there multiple times. During my most recent visit, I was told the room rate would be $115 per night when I asked at check-in. However, upon checking my credit card statement later on, it appeared that I had instead been charged an exorbitant amount totaling up to $184 dollars with no receipt provided due to no one being around when I checked out at 5 AM & now - despite attempts made by phone call inquiry into receiving some semblance towards clarity about these mysterious additional fees (which thus far has yielded nothing but empty promises).

I stayed here as this was as close as I could stay in a Hilton property to Black Mesa for my hike the next day. I simply pulled in around 6 Pm and left by 6 AM the next day. It was a nice newer Hampton. However, the parking lot had a lot of wear for its age. Still, check in and out were easy and the room was big for a Hampton, clean and a good night's stay. I will say it well located on the eastern edge of tower on the main north/south highway. However, it is not very visible from the highway.

While waiting for my husband to get through with work and come to get me for check out, my door opened and I thought it was my husband, called to him. When I didn’t receive an answer, heard the door close, went out into the hall and a strange man and the maid were talking, he was in the room above, the maid let him in without checking who he was and if he was indeed the registered guest in our room. Needless to say I asked him if he opened my door, he denied it. When I called the front desk, he was already there saying what he did and apologized to the front desk, I was on the phone with them so I heard the conversation between them. Check your doors, make sure you have them triple locked and beware of the maids letting people in your room. When my husband confronted the manager on this, she questioned if this really happened. If you scroll down, you will find other reviews with the maids. My husband has a work job here, he will be coming off and on for months, WE WONT BE STAYING HERE. BEWARE, be informed of your surroundings and locks on the door, definitely not a safe place.

Traveling from AZ to Wichita. Friendly staff upon arrival, clean comfortable room. Complimentary breakfast had a wonderful selection. All of the staff had smiles and friendly greetings. One of the better Hilton properties for value and friendly staff.

Good experience, clean rooms, working washer/dryer machines, and free breakfast. Stayed here due to being in town for business. Would stay here again. No complaints. Hampton Inn is consistent with service.

Loved the hotel! Everyone was friendly and the rooms were so clean!! I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through Guyman. We stopped on our way to New Mexico, and so glad we did!!!
