Savanagama Villas was everything we expected and more within the price range. Rooms were very tidy, spacious, clean and the linen was good quality. The facilities like the grounds, communal areas and pool were well appointed and had good ambience. The food was incredible… a great blend of local and international. The Sri Lankan food options were obviously the best! To top it all off, the staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional and the location was excellent to see Sirigiya, go into the national parks on safari and for other activities through the centre. We would come back for sure next time we are in the area. Thanks!

We spent 2 delightful days at this charming boutique hotel. Its situation is superb. Surrounded by nature, it is ideally placed for elephant & bird viewing on a jeep safari in the nearby national park. It is peaceful & quiet. The rooms are clean & spacious and best of all, the chef is magic - the food was fresh, delicious & obviously lovingly prepared.All the staff are welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. We were exceptionally well cared for by the manager. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which is one of the highlights of our fortnight in Sri Lanka.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was really such a nice experience. Quiet, clean with a beautiful garden and the staff so friendly. The manager showed us the garden and the ricefields. Lovely place to stay. We recommend this hotel. The highlights of this area are nearby.

My best accommodation in Sri Lanka during my trip round the country, I could not fault this hotel! The facilities and the rooms are modern, spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds are really comfy, the towels and bed linen are of good quality. You are surrounded by beautiful scenery, well manicured gardens and a wonderful swimming pool. The staff are what really makes this place special, nothing is too great an ask for them. The food is simply fantastic! My friend and I left early on our final morning so the team prepared us the cutest pack breakfasts and on our final evening, we ending up learning how to play Carrom with two of the younger members of staff! We used this hotel as our base to see Sigiryia, Pidurangula and the cave temples in Dambula. The hotel manager, Saman, organised a tuk tuk for us for the day and whilst we had to negotiate the price, the driver was fantastic. It was 3,000 LKR each way, and the same when we went onto Dambula. In total, the tuk tuk cost us 9,000 for the day (prices as at Dec 2023). A truly memorable stay, thank you very much to Saman and his team and we wish you all the best! Xx

We - six grown ups, a four year old and a baby - spent four nights at Villa Sevanagama around Christmas. We were impressed by everything: the rooms, the food, the pool, the service. We especially enjoyed the serene feeling of the place, and the beauty. We definitely would like to return.

Enjoyed our holiday at the Sevanagama villa. Very courteous staff and excellent food. The manager was very helpful and accommodative . In addition to the villa having a beautiful and homely architecture it was very clean and felt very natural with its surroundings. Also has a nice pool overlooking a padi field in the distance. Overall highly recommended and will definitely re visit!

An appearance of an old colonial home, it is all that is says . . Food was delightful, curry then breakfast with a plethora of fruit then omelette, toast etc set us up for the day ahead. The staff were kind and accommodating - what more could we ask?

We had a wonderful time in this small boutique hotel. As a base for our excursions in Sri Lanka's cultural triangle, we found everything we needed here. A nice very clean room, a great pool and fanatical food. The entire staff was outstanding: a fantastic chef who also explained a little about the flora and fauna to us, and a manager who has a passion for outstanding service. We really enjoyed our time and would love to stop by again when we visit Sri Lanka again.
