Hahndorf Oak Tree Cottages

Perfect location. On main street though set back so very peaceful and quiet. Could not fault anything about these cottages. Very comfortable, extremely clean, just perfect. Easy stroll to everything in the village and short drive to anywhere. Haven't been this impressed with accommodation for a long time.

Great location on the Main Street but set back so no traffic noise. Delightful 1 bedroom cottage, which are a credit to the friendly owners. We spent 2 nights there as we had a function to go to nearby on the Saturday night. The unit was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy too. Would highly recommend staying there if you are looking for accommodation in Hahndorf.

These cottages are situated in the village of Hahndorf’s Main Street. They are perfectly located a short drive from Adelaide and set amongst some beautiful countryside. These are very comfortable suites and have all you desire, even the use of laundry facilities. The owners are very accomodating and I would tell everyone to check them out. PS… the dress shop down the road is a must too. Barry and Lynette Cooper

Quiet yet central and spotlessly clean. It’s not often I find accommodation where I’m impressed with the cleanliness, but this place did! Great spot to explore Hahndorf and nearby towns from. Be sure to check out the National Car Museum, a great collection.

Very conveniently located close to restaurants, cafes and pubs. Hahndorf is very small so you can walk anywhere. Lovely surroundings with a little garden. Cottages are very quiet, Spacious and clean. Parking is secure. Would highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay, very central and has everything you need, but our experience was an odd one. After being checked into our unit and chatting to the owner for 10 or so minutes, we had them try to check someone else into the same unit the next day during our stay. This is fine as things happen, but we then got a knock on the door from the owners who were not happy asking who we were, how long we had been there, someone else needed our room and telling me that they don’t remember checking us in despite them showing us the room the day before and giving us the gate access. It was a very unsettling experience. They later apologised but told us that they had put us in the wrong unit but the whole experience made us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I’m hoping this is a one off given other reviews.
