Der Empfang war freundlich, es konnte nur am Terminal online eingecheckt werden. Trotz dessen, dass die Anmeldung besetzt war.
Dies an einem Freitag Nachmittag und nur 3 Terminal benötigt Zeit+Geduld. Check-in mit Hilfe eines Angestellten abgeschlossen, dachten wir.
Am Samstag morgen lagen wir im Bett und plözlich kam ein anderer Hotelgast mit seiner normalen Hotelkarte in unser Zimmer!!!
Dieser Gast checkte 15min vorher ein. Nach Beschwerde an der Anmeldung stellt sich raus, dass der Mitarbeiter bei unserem Check-in diesen Vorgang nicht abschloß und dadurch unser Zimmer als frei galt. Unvorstellbar wenn man selber nicht da ist oder alleine verreist. Dies darf nicht passieren.
Das Prizeotel sagt von sich eine 4-Sterne Katogerie aus. Man erwartet mehr........

rather a sobering experience. Your gold member status is worth nothing in this place: no upgrade offer or high floor room, nothing. Disappointed. location is certainly excellent for Reeperbahn, connection or way to other Hamburg sights is good too. Rooms are alright.

Modern hotel, in a great location! We had a twin room, but disappointed to see it was a double bed with 2 sets of covers, and we are 2 male friends in our 50’s, so had to book a second room, with an on the day rate, which was over double of what the price was of the original room! The rooms do not have safes, so had to carry all my money with me around the Reeperbahn! We was told room service was not a thing, but if we needed fresh towels etc, to go to reception, and after a heavy night and got in at 4am I was woken by the room service people knocking and entering my room at 9am, The hotel was modern, and clean, but obviously with the issues above, I would think two about booking again!

The room was very modern and interesting. Loved the colors . Bed was very comfortable. Had to ask for extra pillows which was no problem at all. The staff were very helpful especially Richter on the front desk. He helped with restaurant selections, taxi reservations, just all round a great man. You can get free coffee even if you don't get the breakfast buffet. No problem getting ice and water in your bottles. Dining area is huge and again with nice colorful design on the walls. Shower was powerful and enjoyable. Early check in was available and appreciated. Easy location to get to by public transit. 30 minutes from Cruise port terminal via taxi , 30 minutes from Hamburg airport via taxi. 14 stops on subway to get to Hamburg airport. Lidl grocery store right beside hotel so handy for groceries. Great restaurant was RPR reeperbande St Pauli at the 4 corner stoplight. We stayed one night before and after our cruise and would stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and facilities are good for a low cost hotel, breakfast buffy was very good, although a cold buffet there was plenty of choice, I would not say the bar had many redeeming features, it was very bright and soulless, but I deal for quick drink before going out. There is no restaurant in the evening, but plenty of burger joints nearby. It is close to the red night district but there is no feeling of being unsafe, staff were good, and my request of an early check in was honoured as they had a room available on my arrival at midday, at no cost, normally check in is 15:00. There is a Lidl next door for any quick supplies you might need.

The staff and hotel were great. It is basic but clean and quiet. My only complaint is that the pillows are far too soft, my neck still aches!

Interesting, 21st century-oriented amenities that I frankly have never seen in a hotel room before. Only bummers were a lack of drinking glass, lack of tissues, and also the window opened in a manner that it was not supposed to creating a potential safety concern (I am addressing this with the hotel)

Prizeotel is located right next to a metro stop so its super convenient for getting in. They offer luggage storage as well as a free beer or wine token after check in! The area is walkable with loads of restaurants. Its at the edge of the party zone so a little rough, but not unsafe.

Reception is very poor service , I took check in almost 20min. Reception staff is very slow and chatting with colleague . Bar staff is very good.
