Nice hotel in a (too) quiet and really not interesting part of Hamburg almost totally without restaurants, bars and sights, so you are certainly not disturbed by music and traffic noise. Room and bath room were clean and very spacious with modern decor and a small seating area, blackout curtains effective and beds firm and comfortable, so sleeping quality is very good. Breakfast is great with a very good variety of German and more "regular" European food, and actually it is a tea drinkers paradise: You could choose between no less than 24 different kinds of tea! The staff in the reception is nice and helpful.

Our second time staying at this hotel while visiting our son. While not a fancy hotel it definitely has the charm of being close to so much in the city of Hamburg. It’s clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there on our next trip to Hamburg.

Location of the hotel was OK, but we got the room in the residence opposite the hotel. The room was comfortable, but beds were not. We hardly slept at nights. The mattresses were soft in the central part and hard at corners, so you had a feeling of sinking into it. The doors of the room and the bathroom were 180cm at most, and I am a 200cm tall man. I hit my head and had to care all the time. Using the toilet was also a problem for me as the radiator is opposite the toilet within width of less than half a meter. Not accommodation for tall people.

Very clean and very comortable

We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were excellent. We requested a couple of more pillows and received them promptly.

Wonderful quiet neighborhood boutique hotel next to Osrerbek canal. Amazing breakfast and close to great dining. Try Zur Gondel restaurant. Really nice beds and shower. Newly renovated. Highly recommend!

Very disappointing stay. We (two people) stayed here as part of a work trip so didn’t have a choice in our accomodation. We stayed in the residenz in a double room that could barely fit our two suitcases. We had to put the chair in wardrobe in order to fit our suitcases in the room. It was also 30 degrees with no air conditioning. They did have small fans at reception but not enough for all the rooms so they had run out. Wall and carpet were marked with stains and scuffs and bathroom was tiny - had to shimmy past the toilet to get into the shower. Breakfast was grossly overpriced for what t was. Much cheaper to go to the local bakery or supermarket and you’ll get better quality. There was a lift but only once you got to the first floor so had to carry bags up a flight of stairs. Some of the staff were friendly, some were not. It was very apparent that they cared much more about the guests staying in the hotel than the guests staying in the residence. Housekeeping did our room multiple days in a row but did not leave toilet paper despite us having just half a roll left. I ended up having to go to reception to ask. Strongly suggest staying somewhere else, even if it costs a little more money
