Been here three weeks in March 2024. This was my second visit to Lanvanga Resort & Spa. I decided to visit this hotel again when I was in Hikkaduwa because I was very happy last time. Even after this stay, I was very satisfied. Very helpful, friendly and service-minded staff. Got very good contact with the two managers Burny and Lakshman. They were incredibly helpful, service-minded and responsive. The hotel is nicely situated on the beach with a nice pool and a small gym. I find it positive that the hotel is located a little outside the liveliest part of Hikkaduwa. I therefore got a relaxed and quiet holiday that I was looking for. I stayed in a room with half board (breakfast and dinner included) and the meals included in this price were very affordable. There are good opportunities to sit and eat both indoors and outside by the pool. I highly recommend new visitors to spend their holidays at Lavanga Spa & Resort. You won't find a more affordable hotel in Hikkaduwa where all these facilities are included. Thank you for a fantastic holiday at Lavanga Resort & Spa. We checked in to the hotel on 20th April morning and had routine welcome drink by very lethargic and no smiling staff. Then went to the room and few minutes later AC was not working. Then they fixed it again stopped working . Now almost 2 hours gone. Then they gave us another room with AC which you cannot control the temperature. I did not complain. Then we went to have lunch which was all carte but staff didn’t know any about rice meals as they want to cook them at time. So we came to the room and ordered from out side. Dinner was horrible no taste at all. Same goes for breakfast which they have served spoiled noodles which we both had food poisoning later. One of their staff told me most of the customers complain about food and service but no one bother to adhere to. Buffet had no food items named though the hotel charged us 22k LKR For HB . Also every room has empty arrack bottles filled with water and Gods know how long those bottles has been there and huge hygienic issue. We didn’t have towels for almost 4 hours though we called front desk many times. At the time of checking out this lady who was at the checking time accepted my full payment said I have not paid. So imagine the service. But I had payment proof 😡😡. By the way I explained same to senior management and they seems to be knowing everything and just take the salary enjoying what is going on at this hotel. Shame on them😡

This is one of our bad experieThisnce in our lives. We were plan our office trip to Lavanga Resort last Saturday .. we booked 5 Rooms from there and overall all the rooms get lot of problems.. Experience :: # Room 8 get bad smell from the wash room and water drained to the same areas and blocked from the sink. # Room 28 water overflow from the commed and at the same night the family had gone with saying bye to the hotel . # Room 29 two girls were there and suddenly get a fire around 12.30 Am .after that They get a new room no 5 around 2 Am. # Room 22 get the same issue get very bad smell from the wash room . Lots of difficulty from their kids regarding this issue . # Room 23 get the biggest problem we ever heard in our lives . At around 1 AM early in the morning Two foriengers came in to the room with saying that the room is belongs to them . Also how whould go for the same key to the same room. Unfortunately no one came over there to solve the problem . No one answer the telephone at the reception . Overall our trip was really unforgettable like this issues in all the rooms .. Can be a issue in any hotel but here lots of bad experience can not reccomend for anyone.

Such a good place!💚🫶 Amazing host and staff, perfect customer service, clean room and best view! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone with a beautiful clean sandy beach and its own swimming pool. The staff and host helped us with everything and were very helpful and hospitable💙

We are planning to go to outing. So we had a best place in all around in hikkaduwa. Its LAVANGA HOTEL. Very warmly welcomed. And best service. Service staff is marvelous. Special FMB manager all FMB members (sorry im didn't remember those names) they is very helpfull. Room also very nice and clean And Thushari is one of the best manager in this property. So we enjoy our outing. Thanks Thushari and thanks Lavanga hotel team.

It was marvelous experience with warm welcome and hospitality of the guests are highly valued with the love ❤️ and care. The staff of the hotel is very appreciated 🙌. Thank you so much for great service and excellent customer dealings which delighted the guests.

Relaxing view and nice service from staff, a surprise trip for our outing. Enjoyable beach and swimming pool. A good lunch buffet also. Good taste of decoration in lobby and different rooms around. A great experience

The Hotel staffs and services are wonderful and the beach view is perfect too. The food is delicious and affordable. This place is peaceful with good music. It is a wonderful experience to be here in Sri Lanka.

The rooms have a splendid sea view. The facilities of the room was Great. and the food was also tasty. there were many things to do as a family. the environment is child friendly too. The foos was self service and the chefs prepared it nicely. The staff is very friendly and caring
