Overall was a great stay. Only complaints is that the walls are paper thin so I can hear the residents next door TV. Also the plumbing wasn't the best, if someone next door flushed the toilet, my shower ran cold.

This was literally the worst hotel stay I have had in my life. First, our door DIDNT LOCK. They came to check on it (after waiting for 45 minutes) and couldn’t fix it, so we had to sleep with the little door stopper and that was all. Secondly, the hot water wasn’t working. Now, I would think a hotel I paid over $200 a night for would have basic amenities like hot water and locking doors, but apparently not here. Third, it’s February and they decided to shut down the indoor pool for renovation. This seems counterproductive when it’s cold outside and guests can’t use the outdoor pool when it’s 50-65 degrees. I had two small children who were very disappointed. Lastly, I called room service 15-ish times with no answer and eventually sent my husband down to order food. I got 9 shrimp and 5 soup dumplings for a whopping $40. Such a great deal. At checkout when I told them all of this, they gave me a $50 discount. That is absolutely ridiculous.
I shouldn’t have to even pay for the stay when I didn’t even receive basic services like a functioning room with a locking door and hot water.
Highly recommend this hotel is you want have a terrible experience and virtually no customer service.

Given the name and the type of property it needs a little TLC. Not bad but this was once a jewel. Return it to its former glory.

Our stay did not disappoint. The staff were very professional, kind and helpful. The hotel was meticulous. Great all around.

My room was very clean and comfortable with an incredible ocean front view. The pools and beach area are very nice with both indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, restaurants and pool bar. However, this hotel has a very corporate look and not a very “welcome to the beach” look or feel. Additionally, I was taken back by the lack of Marriott level customer service you’d expect. At check in on Saturday the valet couldn’t have been bothered to greet me at all. As I finished unloading my luggage myself, the attendant then asked me to move the car. I then handed him the key and asked for my valet ticket. Surprised my room wasn’t ready at 3pm and had no problem waiting until 4 to receive a text message when the room would be ready. I never did get the text message from Jee at the front desk and picked up my room key at 6pm when I was done being eaten alive by the mosquitos at the pool area. I was taken back when Max at the bar said that if I wanted a chair on the beach, I could take one myself from the pool area and walk it to the beach since the “season is over we Don’t put chairs out now.” On a positive, the restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming as you’d expect from Marriott. Food was good.

Stayed here in November, but the weather was 75 degrees everyday. Wish the pool was heated! Overall beautiful place and relaxing time.

This Marriott has been updated recently. Very clean. We love the pool right on the beach. The location in Palmetto Dunes is very convenient to everything. Highly recommend!

The hotel walls between rooms are not insulated very well. For two nights we had to listen to loud children below us and a couple doing the wild thing beside us, well into the late hours. Beware of the hidden resort fees. I booked through *******, when I got to the hotel I was surprised at the extra cost. There are random, uneven charges on my card that do not make sense.
