Jabulani Safari

The three nights we spent at Jabulani were the best vacation of our lives. My husband, my daughter and I were treated with great comfort, care and attention. We will never forget everything we experienced on safaris games and inside the hotel during those days.

The whole trip of accommodation, food, staff and friendly people. Chef Alexandzer proves to be a Master in his own class, I ate divine food from the beginning. Drinks great. Ryan, Ansie, Shadrack, Chantal etc could be at any top establishment in the world.

Incredible lodge and safari experience. Amazing staff and rangers. Everything was perfect. Absolutely recomendable.

An absolutely wonderful experience in every way! From our warm welcome upon arrival, to the wonderful hospitality from everyone (Songs was so hospitable, thoughtful, caring), Alex (the wonderful and talented chef) who so tastefully accommodated our diet restrictions, and our amazing guide/host Juan (Juan, you actually exceeded what prior travelers wrote about you!) who made our safari excursions truly lifetime experiences (we learned so much!) in addition to being an incredible host, we thank all of you!! In addition to all of the wonderful people who work at Jabulani, the property itself (the main lodge, our villa, grounds) is beautiful and so well maintained. Jabulani is a truly special place. We can’t wait to get back someday!!!

We recently stayed 4 nights with Jabulani From the moment we got picked up the attentive service and welcome from all the staff was exceptional. Our ranger Kyle, was highly knowledgeable and worked extremely hard to ensure that we had an experience worth remembering. The food, service, and wine were spectacular. We got to experience private dining in both the wine cellar and boma. Sakki and all chefs provided exceptional service and wine recommendations. The entire Jabulani team should be very proud of the extremely high quality experience they offer guests. We got engaged during our stay. The personalised approach by the Jabulani and HERD team made this our most magical moment, going above and beyond our expectations. Jabulani is a very special place, we’ve built very fond memories, and looking forward to being able to return in the future!

We recently spent 3 nights at Jabulani lodge and it has been our most memorable holiday to date. I felt so sad to leave (husband managed to keep emotions in check) and that stemmed from our fantastic experience with the wonderful team looking after us. Alex and Duvan are the chefs who provided culinary delights at every turn. They are also lovely people. We had Shadrack acting as our butler and were greeted with his beautiful smile and lovely manner throughout our stay. Our suite and everything inside was exquisite and the last word in luxury. That said our suite was so comfortable and felt homely. We would often sit and admire the beautiful furniture and fittings and feel so lucky. The interior design at Jabulani was outstanding with animals at its heart. When we arrived at Jabulani in the middle of the afternoon we were greeted by the staff (they made us feel like royalty). The Chef had left us a platter of deliciously crafted snacks and it was only a taste of what was to come. As we nibbled our food we had the pleasure of watching 3 hippos in Jabulani’s watering hole! Our safari was made all the more special by Nathan, our wonderful guide. Nathan has been interested in the bush since he was a child and we feel so lucky to have shared our holiday with him. Nathan taught us so much and we loved how he cared about the tiny insects as well as the big 5! Each game drive was so exciting and it was just the 3 of us. We loved stopping for coffee in the morning and a drink at sundown as it was a chance to chat with Nathan and learn about his life and how he came to be a guide. Nathan made sure we saw the big 5 but we would still have had a great time with him in their absence. We can’t speak highly enough about this guy. We also loved the relaxed atmosphere at Jabulani and that was down to the staff who were also relaxed and happy. It may be a five star setting but there was an absence of stuffy atmosphere, which we really liked. Jabulani is in a gorgeous location and we loved seeing the bush during our game drives. We only hope that we can return to Jabulani.
