Bonsai Villa Hoi An

A short walk from the old town this delightful family hotel provides clean spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast included and Autumn and her husband try hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There new recruit Ruby is in training and doing well.😀 After a time in the Old Town it is great to relax in a quieter area only 12 mins walk away. There is a hotel pool and sun loungers too. Much recommended

Peaceful, clean and spacious. Very welcoming and helpful. 10 minute walk to the beginning of the old town. We stayed 7 nights did The original food tor, went to Myson and BaNa Hills. Pick up and drp off at Bon Sai. The pool was excellent and helped cool off after a day out.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the family was friendly. The pool is refreshing, but there are not enough loungers available. The breakfast was good, but nothing outstanding. It is a short 8 minute walk into the old town. They have a small pond, which is sadly too small for the huge fish they are keeping. They also keep multiple birds in small bird cages.

I had a very enjoyable and fantastic stay at Bonsai Villa. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Hoi An. I stayed for three nights and went as a solo traveller. Sometimes when I travel solo, I am not always given the best room, however, the room I was given at Bonsai Villa was so comfortable, clean and welcoming that I even decided to stay in one evening just to enjoy it. The villa is family run by Autumn and her family. They are not only experienced with dealing with guests, they are also professional and extremely helpful. For example, on the last day, my flight was delayed by a number of hours. Autumn was very accommodating and kind, which meant I didn't need to panic or feel stressed about my situation. Breakfast is included and is not only tasty, but gives you a great introduction to local food. In addition, the Villa is in a great location within easy walking distance of the old town. Perhaps not great for buggies/prams as there is a very narrow walkway to cross a bridge. You can also book a number of tours through the hotel and they also help you to arrange taxi services. After reading reviews for Bonsai Villa we thought it would be good but it has exceeded our expectations, an oasis of calm and tranquility, away from the hectic pace of the old town. Everyone here was very helpful, offering assistance and directions if needed, plus free (fairly old) bikes. Our ground floor room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a small patio overlooking the coi carp pond and amazing bonsai tree courtyard, leading on to the pool area, much appreciated after a hot day out. Breakfast was pre-ordered, cooked fresh and nice too, with several egg and rice options plus fresh fruit. All in all, our favourite accommodation so far in Vietnam.

What a great place to stay. Our 5th visit to Hoi An and our 1st time staying at Bonsai Villas. Wished we had found this place sooner. Located in a quiet part of Hoi An away from the very busy areas with a ten minute walk to the markets. A very good daily breakfast with plenty of choices served by the lovely staff here. The pool is sparkling and the garden is a credit to Duc who tends to his wide variety of bonsais. Autumn is a delight to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for her. From arranging our tour, taking care of laundry and offering money changing. Her and her family have made us feel at home here and we look forward to our next stay. We extended our stay from 7 to 10 days.
