Hotel Casa Baleine

I have been working in tourism for a long time, and I had never seen something like this. The place is dirty, neglected, with bad service and they are also dishonest. I booked from December 30th to January 3rd. The Hotel ran out of water on the 31st and the 1st, and they did not provide cleaning service in the rooms, a service that was mentioned in the contract. After wasting a lot of time at the reception to talk to a person in charge, he never answered the calls, until the next day. I asked for a refund for the last 2 nights, which I did not spend in such establishment, a certain Rodrigo promised me a refund, which has not been done yet. This Mr. Rodrigo and also his colleague Daniel, who also promised the refund, no longer respond to my calls and messages. The pool was dirty, the restaurant abandoned, the wifi with bad signal, the terrace full of garbage. Given such a bad experience, I consulted other hotels in Holbox and you can really find something much better for the same price, or even for less!! Disappointing and very expensive, and I do not know where the "boutique" term comes from, there is absolutely nothing to highlight. Really to avoid

Very poor standard of bathroom, rusty tap, flushing toilet didn't work properly even though we didn't use toilet paper in it. Poor skills of staff especially in English. There is a huge pile of rubbish next door which you can see from entrance to the room. Small pool with cold water. Noise from the road woke us up every morning. There are a lot of bicycles in front of hotel but they don't rent them because they aren't working apparently which is a shame. They obviously don't care.

Llegue el día 8 de enero y me dijeron que buscara otro hotel porque ese se cerraba el día 10. No me dieron ninguna alternativa u tengo entendido que son dueños de otros mas en Holbox ejemplo el Muuch. El administrador nunca vino en persona exigí mi devolución que lo hicieron a través de PayPal después de mucho insistir sin embargo el dinero sigue retenido por esa aplicación . Vendían con Desayuno otra mentira mas ya que el restaurante llevaba meses sin operar cuando insistí me dijeron cancele y vuelve a tomar la reservación. Fue espantoso.

Hôtel à EVITER absolument. Service client est juste inexistant. Je vais vous raconter mon histoire. Je suis actuellement au Mexique, je devais me rendre sur l'île Holbox du 9th au 13th décembre dans cet "hôtel" (réservé sur une plate-forme de voyage). Un événement triste est arrivé dans ma famille ce qui m'oblige de rentrer en France au plus vite. Communication non acceptable avec cet hôtel qui sans vouloir comprendre quoi qu'il soit me dit sèchement "c'est pas remboursable". Je travaille dans le tourisme spécialement dans le tourisme de luxe depuis plus de 10 ans et pour des cas comme les miens perdre un proche on allait toujours vers le client (ce qu'on appelle un service CLIENT). L'hôtel n'a rien voulu entendre même 10 jours avant l'arrivée (ce qui est d'ailleurs très étrange car sur Airbnb même hôtel ils vous remboursement quand même 50% une semaine avant l'arrivée lol). Donc aucune logique! Évitez des hôtels comme ceci où le service client n'existe pas!

Un hotel con potencial y buena intención pero antiguo y baños deprimentes. Un personal agradable y atento que nos cambió de habitación cuándo reclamamos una limpieza profunda. Este hotel necesita una renovación importante (especialmente los baños: óxido, humedades, desconchones donde se ve el color del hotel anterior, etc). No se ve tan nuevo e impecable como en las fotos. Pero en una zona idílica. Si buscas algo básico para dormir y asearte a buen precio, este es tu lugar, pero no dudes en reclamar una limpieza profunda donde haga falta. El restaurante tampoco estaba disponible, pero hay muchos sitios cerca.

El hotel boutique es muy lindo, las camas son cómodas, hay buena presión del agua de la ducha, el wifi en la habitación funciona a la perfección y los empleados son muy serviciales! A nosotros nos recibieron Gabriel y Guillermo que son super amables!

Antes que nada queremos destacar la amabilidad, predisposicion y atencion de Guillermo quien desde el primer dia nos hizo la estadia increible. El hotel es muy bonito, la habitacion es simple pero tiene lo necesario, tan vez lo unico que le agregaria seria una heladerita pequeña que nuestra habitacion al menos no tenia. La cama es muy comoda y la tranquilidad del hotel es a destacar, esta cerca del centro pero lejos del ruido del centro asique es perfecto para decansar. El desayuno que nos brindo Guadalupe fue delicioso, el cafe es muy rico y Guadalupe nos atendio cada mañana con su sonrisa y nos armo un delicioso desayuno.
