Overall, we felt comfortable at this hotel. It wasn't overcrowded as it wasn't peak tourist season. The food at Hotel Villas Paraisos was always very good, thanks to the great Chef Abenamar. However, on weekends, we had to dine twice at the sister hotel Palapas, where the food was nowhere near as good. Additionally, we felt less welcomed there. The head chef was also not as friendly, even bordering on rude. Nonetheless, we were relieved when we could dine again at the restaurant in our hotel, Paraisos del Mar.
We did bring up some issues at the hotel, which were quickly resolved. We've also managed to forget about an extremely unfriendly incident involving a waitress and our child.

The property is surrounded by a mature jungle.. it feels like you are staying in the jungle and on the beach. The location is in the middle of the 26 mile island and close to the ferry. You can walk to the village , shopping and all the restaurants. Bikes are available to rent. Take the bikes west to playa coco and east to playa mosquito. Staff here are helpful and very accommodating. The coffee and breakfast every morning was the best!

We visited the day after the worst flooding in 8 years, covering the entire island. Despite this the staff made it work and kept us comfortable, dry, and well fed,

First time to Holbox, we would definitely stay at Paraiso again after having checked out other similar more expensive resorts nearby. Very nice and attentive staff.

the people from reception, were very nice, they noticed that was my husband's birthday and they gave us a nice surprise, they made our vacation, very nice and unforgettable

Our first impression at the checkin was horrible. A large group had arrived just before us. All personel at the front des -three in total- prioritized the group. We and another couple had to wait nearly up to one hour before we were checked in. We tried to ask the front desk mgr if it was possible that one of them could help other guests when two helped the group. We got at rather abrupt answer that we just had to wait. Both we and the other couple had been flying in from Scandinavia and were pretty exhausted and jetlaged.

Very nice and calm hotel. It’s a big hotel but it does not feel that big. The garden through the hotel area is stunning! One of the most gorgeous hotel areas I’ve seen. The pool area is quiet and beautiful. The double room was spacious and nice. We had our own balcony which was nice.
Most of the staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was okey but I missed fresh pineapple, papaya and mango everyday. Mostly we got melons and apples.
Although it’s a calm area we could hear every time someone talked outside, downstairs. It’s very keen-eared.
Also every time we flushed the toilet water came up on the floor (even though we didn’t put paper in it as you shouldn’t).
The beach is on the other side of the road which was a bit weird.
But all in all I would definitely come back! We had a really good stay there! 😃

Not a lot of spaces to expend time , there was zargazo at the beach in fron of the hotel, it could be nice if they clean the space

The beach was so nice, not crowded. The grounds were so beautiful, landscaping was well manicured. Definitely will go back.
