We had a fantastic stay for a birthday treat. Breakfast & Sunday lunch was lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Very welcoming and hospitable hotel with a fantastic location and free parking.

We came by public transport ( pensioners bus pass ). Hotel is right behind the bus station. Staff were very welcoming . We sat straight down and enjoyed a three course sunday lunch. The hotel is convenient for town centre. Room had everything we needed for our comfortable overnight stay.

Fantastic position bang, slap in the middle of town with car parking for guests. Great bar and restaurant with good quality food and drink.

Very handy location and all staff in the hotel very friendly and informative. Room quite compact but had all you needed. Very lovely and stylish upmarket toiletries to use. Housekeeping had left a charming note wishing the person staying a pleasant stay. Only slightly displeasing thing was no milk on the tea/coffee tray. This did detract from a very delightful stay though.

Really nice Hotel excellent food both Dinner and Breakfast superb. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are going to the Picturedrome next door !

Second visit to the old bridge and again met with very pleasant staff and room very clean

Property ideally located in the centre of Holmfirth, great to explore the town and local bars and the picturedrome.
Clean rooms , staff friendly. We were in a double room situated at the rear of the property .
Only thing that could be improved on would be better windows as the are not double glazed and the noise from the outside bars was extremely loud so didnt have a good night's sleep.
