Regal Hongkong Hotel

We stayed at Room 2262, quite standard with basic amenities. The breakfast were with good variety of food,  choices, At the back street of the hotel are a few local restaurants that offer Chinese food such as soup noodles, honey bbq pork and dimsum, plus bubble milk, tea. Hotel concierge were very helpful with locating our driver, also take care of our in/out carrier package from friends.

Location is good. Overall is good except the hotel wifi is really bad & lousy. Poor connectivity and keep disconnecting.

very convenient location,  room services was great & helpful . The front desk was a meh… we arrive around 14: 30 (maybe) queue was so busy & they just register and not giving any door key until 15:00 sharp, so we finish the register around 14:57 and sharp go line up again to get the key. kinda old hotel & dirt everywhere ( i saw some bloodstain on it?) . ummm so far so good

The room is bigger compared to other hotels. The staffs are nice and helpful. You can leave your luggage after you checkout if you still have the time tó roaming around. Highly recommended 💯

Great location and close to the subway, it's about a 5 min walk or less. Lots of restaurants to eat at and there's a mall near by. Super close to lots of attractions and the shopping street. The hotel staff was friendly and the Buffet breakfast was ok. Overall, would stay again.

Strategic location as just right in front of tram and 3 min walk to mrt. Convenience as surrounded by shopping mall and very happening. The down side is the room design are old however it is clean. In term of services, personally is slow maybe due to good business as Hong Kong open for tourism. Enjoy nice food as many choices available.

This is a hotel which has seen better days but unfortunately has remained stuck in those days. Contrary to the photographs showcased by the hotel, the room is dingy, dark even in broad daylight and poorly maintained. The carpets are dirty and smelt mouldy. Everything looks like it is falling apart or about to do so. The lifts are slow. During the weekend one of the rubbish bins was left uncleared. And these are only the minor problems. One of the lights emit a low grade humming sound when switched on. This will either affect your sleep or drive you crazy, or both. Despite the cold indoor temperatures in Hong Kong at the end of January, the temperature settings of the room will make you wonder if you are in the Arctic. There is no power outlet or USB ports located at either side of the bed. If you want to lie in bed while charging your mobile device, the hotel - limping its way into 2023 - will offer you an option that is straight out of the 1980s (Photo 1). The Wifi works intermittently or sometimes not at all. After I raised my concerns, the hotel asked for my IP address and then promptly ignored me. After I complained again the next day, the hotel installed a router (Photo 2) in my room. But even then, internet connection was still intermittent or non-existent especially after 10 pm. This continued for the entire 8 days of my stay. By the fourth or fifth day I have no energy to fight this battle anymore. I did not specifically ask for the router. I merely asked for stable internet connection. But after carting the uninvited device into my room in an attempt to solve a problem that is of its own doing, the hotel made me sign a declaration form (Photo 3). In it, I am compelled to fork out HK$2000 if the router is damaged or lost. I marvel at the hotel’s audacity and lack of any measure of good sense. The router is unlikely to fetch even HK$50 at a self-respecting second-hand store in Sham Shui Po. Considering that I had already placed a sum of HK$2000 on my credit card when I first checked into the hotel, this extra form was totally uncalled for. Come to think of it, given the poor condition of the room and the equally poor state of the items that are found in it, it is highly doubtful if there is anything worth pillaging that can conceivably add up to HK$2000. Good location with nearby access transport like MTR and Ding ding trams. Easily to find food place and shopping place like Time square, hyson mall and Sogo. But the hotel room look quite old, and the cleanliness and maintenance can be improve. Hotel reception is not so friendly. However, Room reservation staff's Karis and the cafe staff's Sally are very efficient and helpful.
