Lychee Sunset Hotel Cheung Chau is located at the center of the beautiful Dumbell Island (Cheung Chau), just a couple of minutes from the Pier and the Tung Wan Beach. Lychee Sunset Hotel has various room types to choose from. We proudly present our guests the Rooftop Terrace, which has the top view of the whole island, perhaps it is the best spot for sunset view. We provide free WiFi and Western breakfast (at Eggenberg Restaurant). It takes approximately 1 hour from our hotel to the airport, including the 30 minutes ride on Airport Express, and 35 minutes fast ferry trip from Central Pier No.5. Every room has air conditioning and a TV. For better a more convenient stay, we have a common area at our hotel, and some of our rooms have a private balcony. Our receptionist can also arrange your trip to the island. Besides the Hotel itself, our company also has a restaurant and a creative workshop for you to enjoy. self check-in very convenience. Always my place to go when travelling to Cheung Chau, location is really great, it's quiet, practical, clean, totally recommend it. Check out the view from the terrace, best place to enjoy the sunset over the village roofs.

Receptionist is friendly. Location is near ferry , beach and cafes. I do hope they provide disposable slippers, the ones provided left a dirt print on the white rug so we didn’t use them afterwards. Water runner on pipes wakes you up but neighbors is quite. Hot water was low after several showers. Bottled water and soft drinks were provided. Not bad for an overnight stay.

It was a cozy little room. However, I was able to hear noises from other rooms and from the corridor. But in general, it was a good stay.

Note that if you want to check in in person, the reception is located at a completely different address -- walk straight ahead after getting off the ferry and it's a shop on the right that also handles bookings for several other bnb places.
Otherwise, if you show up at the hotel itself, check-in is by WhatsApp only, which is a bit annoying. Also note that there's no lift, and the hotel is situated on a slope, so try to avoid bringing a lot of baggage.
While the opening hours of the restaurant / lounge area on the top floor are supposed to be until midnight, it is unstaffed and the air conditioning is turned off after breakfast hours, so I wasn't able to use the space despite it being a nice area to do some work or read.

Always my place to go when travelling to Cheung Chau, location is really great, it's quiet, practical, clean, totally recommend it. Check out the view from the terrace, best place to enjoy the sunset over the village roofs.
