The view at this property is stunning.
When we arrived, the concierge checked us in, offered a welcome beverage and shared that they had downgraded our room. To make up for it, they waived the hotel fees roughly $35/day. My husband and I would have preferred a phone call in advance to share that our preferred room was not available which was kind of frustrating.
Otherwise, the front desk greets you every time you enter the lobby. They have chairs and towels for the beach. The beach on site is pretty small, but Waikiki is a 15 minute walk. There are plenty of places nearby to walk and enjoy including the zoo, aquarium and restaurants. On site laundry is free and was much appreciated!

Loved the location. Pleasant staff- welcoming and helpful.
Incorrect charges on bill promptly and courteously corrected.
I would recommend this place to others and definitely stay here the next tie i am in Honolulu.

The beautiful view from the two balconies of our room! You could see the ocean from one side and Diamond Head from the other side! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Park view was lovely, the room balcony was a good size.
The room was large and comfortable. Convenience store next door is well stocked and very convenient!
Limited food options nearby but many food delivery services delivered right to our room!

This property is exactly what we were looking for. A fair price and within walking distance to Waikiki.
Fun perks like free wine hour each night, reusable water bottles, robes and slippers. The setting was nice with views of both Diamond Head and the ocean. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

this beautiful gem of a hotel is in the quiet area of Waikiki in front of Kapiolani Park and white Diamond Head. Perfect location to get in and out quickly and not deal with the Waikiki traffic. The service was excellent from valet to front desk. Greeting with wine, a water bottle filler and lovely Hawaiian music made for a great first impression. Valley parking is easy and not crowded. Like the bigger hotels. How could you not love this place. I only complaint was in the room the phone charging outlets were not quite working. besides that inconvenience, a great beginning for our stay.

We like to stay on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki. The hotel with a partial ocean view has a view of Diamond Head and the beach.

Although the hotel website stated that self parking option was available, when we checked in,the parking attendant said only valet parking was all.
The first room we were assigned smelled like a dirty locker room. The bathroom couiwas cracked and there holes in the upholstered chair.
We were allowed to switch to another room which was tolerably less smelly. It seemed like the linens smelled of body odor.
The bathroom sink drain smelled and the bathroom sink had a small crack.
The restaurant in the hotel is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The hotel staff did not allow us a late check out of an hour and a half. That’s fine but they started badgering us 2 minutes after checkout time just as we were getting ready to leave. It take a while to get down to the lobby since they only have one small elevator which is shared by the maintenance staff.

I love this hotel. The staff are wonderful and the setting is so peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable with amazing views of Diamond Head.
