Sunbay Resort

We rented a family room so we could have 2 separate bedrooms. There's no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, etc... The only AC was in the Master bedroom so our son got pretty hot. The towels for the hot tub had to be checked out and we had to ***** our own beds and gather the linens. We have done this multiple times as we have rented houses previously but never in what I consider a hotel. The building is older but well kept. The carpet in the room was clean but there was quite a bit of dust on the dresser. The remote control for the queen bedroom was missing the back and batteries secured with electrical tape. The staff was amazing but the restaurant was very expensive. The hot tub was nice and the outdoor pool was heated and very well maintained. I would stay again but now I am more aware of the additional needs to be comfortable. Would probably be renting the full condo. Overall for 1 night these things are minor and the staff make up for the small conveniences that most hotels provide.

The room had food in the floor. The front bed room had no A/C and it was warm. There was no refrigerator, microwave, no blow dryer or shampoo/conditioner, no coffee pot, no ice bucket, no telephone. Very minimal necessities in our room for the price. Disappointed.

I liked the price unitl I saw the rooms. Mine smelled like heavy smoke the air in the rooms was thick and had an odor. The bathroom floor was dirty. No fridge or microwave. No soap or lotion or any things like that in the room.

Dont expect an early check in, we checked in after 4 and at 10 am sharp they call your phone and rush u out like dogs. I wont stay here again for 230 a night, i refuse to be treated that way. I've done front desk for several years and they couldve considered my request. Theres other resorts around. And it needs updating badly.

First, the room that I originally selected was not the room that I recieved and I did not know or realize it until I checked in. Secondly, the room it self was filty! The door had some type of red spill on it that the housekeeper obviously looked over. Not sure if it was blood, ketchup juice or what. The dresser drawers had things in them from the previous vistor. One of the blankets that was made up on the bed had, the red, stuff that over door all over it also on the door. I paid entirely too much for the dirty that I received! The only reason I did not complain is because my husband feared retaliation, however I do have pictures and a video!!!

We booked a room with a king and queen bed, but were told upon arrival that they did not have our reservation. They put us in a room with a lumpy Murphy bed and pull out sofa sleeper. The room was small with little room to move around once bed was down, there was hair all over the wall/shower, and blood on the towels.

Beware the pictures of rooms are misleading. I thought that we would have a kitchenette but we didn't even have a fridge or microwave. The service was wonderful though 🙂 The restaurant and bar were perfect. The veiw is amazing!! No shampoo, soap or anything like that so remember to bring your own. We had two rooms with two beds but would have been nice to have the essentials. We did get the cheapest room so just take that into consideration when looking at the pics. Otherwise it was an amazing stay! Definitely recommend sitting on the deck for dinner and drinks!! Wonderful employees!!

Was somewhat private friendly staff relaxed stay

My stay was good except for the fact that the pictures that where shown to me of the room had a kitchen in it which was the main reason for getting the room , but when I arrived I was told that the room that I was getting didn’t have those things , no fridge , microwave nor coffee pot . Clerk said that they were a resort not a Hotel . So the pics were misleading .
