The room had cake or something on the edge of the mirror. Overall it was dingy. The woman at the front desk was very kind and friendly when she greeted us.

We have stayed multiple nights probably close to ten times in the past six years. This hotel provides a fairly clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price and at a convenient location for us. Improvements would include better maintenance and more variety of breakfast items. Carpeting and decor plus some furnishings were replaced several years ago. The desk clerks are all helpful and pleasant.

Everything was good. However only one little thing… the coffee maker had not been cleaned before I arrived. Not a deal breaker but staff needs to pay attention to details.

This hotel is very nice, friendly staff, and very clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the beds are very soft.

No elevator for the second floor. Free Continental breakfast only had waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and small pastries (no scrabble eggs, sausage, gravy or biscuits), maybe due to nearby family restaurant (Great Lakes). No decaf coffee. Quiet area, not many guests at this time of the year. Friendly staff.

I was worried when I realized I booked at an American Inn and Suites. I have left them before for being awful but this one was GREAT! Updated, comfortable bed, great staff, super clean and breakfast was a standard continental but no complaints.
