Wanderstay Houston Hostel

Wanderstay is amazing, but Houston does have a significant homeless population, and higher than average crime. My car was broken into on my latest visit. No fault of the management, but I recommend paying a few dollars extra for protected parking.

If you are a solo traveler looking for a safe and friendly place to stay, you will love wanderstay. stayed here for a night and rebooked to come again over the summer. highly recommend if you are needing a good value and a place to meet new friends.

My husband and I went to a staycation for one night at Wanderstay Boutique Hotel. It was a great experience. The girl at the reception was too sweet and showed us around and allotted us our room. Everything was very quick. They have themed rooms and very beautiful interiors. They even have a kitchen where you can get groceries and cook your own food Coffee is available 24/7. They have a conference room, lounge and common area. Coming to the safety: they have codes for everything, entrance and rooms which will be only given through email once you check in. The rooms are a little smaller than expected but there are two bathrooms so i found it very convenient. Overall i found the place very quiet and peaceful and perfect for a getaway. It's an adult only hotel. They allow small pet dogs. There is a coffee shop and a burger place just in walking distance.

The place was nice and clean to stay. It is located in a quiet area with minimal noise. There are no nearby shops or stores for shopping. You will need to travel by local bus or Uber/Lyft if you plan to go shopping. There are nearby food joints within a walkable range of 15-20 minutes.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet, clean and very unique. Very close to great restaurants and coffee shops. I felt completely safe. It was great to be 4 blocks from my daughter and so close to everything. The staff are TOP Notch! Very helpful, accessible and super helpful.

The lobby smelled so good when we entered and Ioved the cozy feel. I also loved the clean rooms and big beds. There was also a kitchen upstairs that was super accessible. We were 2 women traveling and we felt very safe in this area walking to and from!
