I am writing about my impressions of the vacation, if it can be called a vacation at all, because it was stressful for me. Novatours from Estonia sent me to V Luxury resort for the dates of March 2-9/03, I asked for a renovated resort and was willing to pay for it, I did not save. I wrote in the notes that I don't want yellow walls, when I arrived I was given a room with exactly yellow walls and two separate beds, after conversations and making sure that there were no other rooms, I was changed and given a room. me the one i booked i have no complaints about the room i was not in but they put me on the same floor where the other rooms were being renovated!!! From morning to night, the rooms on the same floor were being repaired, furniture was being changed, and it was noisy during the entire stay. The rooms themselves are also very thin walls, the audibility is very strong, I could never sleep and relax during the day! In addition to this renovation, there was also a building under construction on the hotel grounds!! They drilled and made noise from morning to night. If you are lying near the pool or even by the sea, you can hear drilling constantly. I asked for a renovated or new hotel, but I did not ask to spend my vacation on a construction site. There were very strong winds, I never swam in a normal pool, only a couple of times in a heated pool. There were stones everywhere in the sea, I didn't go there because it was also cold. The evening entertainment was on the roof of a building or restaurant, which was blown by strong winds from all sides, on the 4th day I just got sick and I am still sick. Food - I visited almost all the a la carte restaurants, none of the restaurants had food like the restaurant, it was the kind of food that you can prepare yourself in minutes. The restaurant on the beach served the same dry burgers every day... The main restaurant has no lactose or gluten free products at all. The reception staff were very rude for the first few days until I started to complain that this is not the way to treat guests!! Ahmed, who works at the hotel, tried to do something to improve this holiday, made restaurant reservations and was attentive to complaints, but even that could not improve this completely ruined holiday. I was so unsatisfied with my vacation that I just never want to return to Egypt and the worst thing about this situation is that the agent did not warn me that the hotel was under full construction! Flying so many hours to spend a whole week surrounded by noise is not at all what I paid for.
