Le Lodge des Iles d'Or

My husband and I spent three nights at this Hotel. The Hotel itself is a lot smaller than we imagined and there is no view. All rooms face towards the centre of the hôtel and overlook the pool and restaurant which can be extremely noisy. You can see guests on their balconies and there is no privacy as the rooms and balconies are so close together. There are a lot of trees and therefore mosquitoes and the trees hang above the balconies making it very dark and you can not enjoy your balcony due to the mosquitoes. The main issues we had is the location of this Hotel. It is sandwiched between a Mobile Home campsite and a huge construction site of holiday apar**ents. The road to the beach from the Hotel is just beside the construction site and is very dirty. The beach itself was a huge disappoin**ent. It looked very unclean and generally run down. The noise from the construction site is enormous and starts very early in the morning. We had to go out and spend the whole day out of the Hotel due to the noise. Another noise issue were the several young families who were there during our stay. This is not an ideal Hotel for children as it is so small and nothing for them to do. The rooms are small and not particularly clean and would really need a coat of paint. Breakfast was basic and the staff didn’t really care about the guests. It was a self service buffet and when we realized there was no water my husband asked for mineral water and they gave him tap water. You had to pay for water in a 4 Star Hotel! I have never seen this in a 4 Star Hotel before. We never had dinner here as we were so disappointed by the quality of food and choice at breakfast. The Staff in general looked very unhappy and there was a terrible a**osphere. This Hotel was a huge disappoin**ent and we couldn’t wait to leave. It is far too expensive for what it is.

We sadly only had a one night stay here, we wished we could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful hotel nestled in a garden oasis, our ground floor room was very private. Check in was smooth and easy. Rooms are generous in size and the decor is wonderful and unique. The heated pool was wonderful even in the rain. Breakfast was fantastic, fantastic selection with fresh local fruit. The staff and owners made our stay memorable. We will be back. A little slice of heaven, book it.

Very nice hotel, very well located (150m to the beach and close to Kitesurf place). Our room was perfect and you can also enjoy a peaceful pool. Reception desk and entrance are quite basic (they should replace the damaged flags at the entrance). This hotel is very close to a 4 stars hotel We will come back

We only stayed one night in the Lodge and wished we could have stayed longer. Cleverly and sensitively designed. Fabulous room which was on the ground floor and v quiet. Food was excellent too. Dinner was v creative and tasty with lots of local fish and vegetables. The staff and management were very pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

The room was just amazing ! Very clean, updated and cozy. Short distance to the beach and lovely pool

What a gem this place is! I will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

Nous avons séjourné en couple durant un week-end dans ce superbe établissement. Tout y est fabuleux : l'accueil, le cadre, les chambres, l'espace autour de la piscine, la végétation, le restaurant, la proximité de la plage, le service, le calme, le petit-déjeuner, la propreté... C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer. Service efficace et attentioné. Tarifs un peu élevés mais conformes aux prestations proposées. Adresse à retenir.

Alors globalement on a passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel récent. Le lieu est sympa et à proximité d une belle plage (2 min à pied) et l’accès rapide à la tour fondue/porquerolles. Cadre vraiment bien travaillé de l’extérieur luxuriant aux chambres bien décorées. Mais on a des doutes sur le bon vieillissement de l’établissement. Le ménage doit être un plus soigné et d’une manière générale c’est un bel établissement à entretenir ! Privilégier une chambre à l étage, la nôtre sentait un peu l humidité en rdc malgré le diffuseur de parfum. Pdj cher et pas exceptionnel, a noter qu’ il y a une super top boulangerie/ épicierie à 5 min en voiture avec une belle terrasse…
