Tui Magic Life Cala Pada - All Inclusive

We have just returned from a family holiday at TUI Magic Life Club Cala Pada and had a fantastic time. We stayed for a week and wish we'd booked longer. From the start we were welcomed by the reception staff where we met Phillip the deputy general manager. We saw Philip daily and he always took the time to speak to us about our stay and get to know us better. Our room was a 2 bedroom apar**ent - very spacious. It had an entrance hall with storage for cases / pool toys etc. Both bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds. The lounge area included a large L shape sofa, TV with a range of channels. There was a sink and microwave also in the room, and a good size balcony area. The maid service was excellent and carried out daily if required. The resort is very large and very well kept. There amount of activities available are extensive, see brochure for details. The pools were fantastic, there is a kiddies specific pool, and 3 other pools, one of which is heated. We had no problems getting sunbeds at any time of the day even with the rooms occupied at full capacity. The food was excellent. The variety was extensive and changed daily at all meal times in both the main restaurant and snack bar. The freshly made pizza was amazing as well as the rotation of meats and salad items. The bar staff were fantastic, there were self service stations for beer, soft drinks and hot drinks, as well as a number of bars with a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Another great aspect of the hotel was the bus stops directly outside the hotel. We used the buses to go to Es Cana and Santa Eulalia, which were both less than 5 mins away. Children ride for free and adults 1.55 euros each. There is a bus every 20mins which was great. I'm also in to running and ran to both Es Cana and Santa Eulalia via paved roads. There is a beach attached to the resort which really good even though we didn't really go there, I just went for a walk there one day. A boat sails to various places from the jetty there daily, which is really cool. I have very little negatives at all, in fact non. It's a perfect family resort with plenty to do, and on the last day we booked to come back next May for 10 nights.

Exceptional holiday hotel facilities, food, customer service all first class, impressed with the level of service and welcome from Staff. Easy access to Es Cana and Santa Eulària via bus or 20 min walk. Hotel is set in well maintained ground and the pools are under constant supervision of lifeguards. All in all a great package on a beautiful island. Short walk to the hippy Market which is worth a visit

This was a fabulous first holiday for my 3 and 4 year old! Only 25 minutes away from the airport after a short flight. We had a family room. It was large, clean and had everything we needed. The resort is spacious therefore never really felt over crowded even though it’s a family hotel and children everywhere. Plenty of activities and pool space available. We stayed all inclusive and the food and drink on offer was brilliant! We used the snack bar mainly by the pool for lunch and there was alway a lovely selection to choose from. Staff were friendly and approachable. Nothing was too big an ask. Even when I needed a screwdriver to put batteries in my son’s toy 🙈🤣 the maintenance man was there to help. The resort is a stones throw from Es Canar and St Eularia costing us 3 euro 10 each way for a family of 4 and the buses were around every 20 minutes. Perfect! We enjoyed this holiday so much that while by the pool on our last day we have booked to come back next year ☺️ Philip, I assure you Teddy will say hello and give you a high five next year 🤣…… hopefully! This hotel if not at the hight of season is fine for little children , we travelled with out 2 year old granddaughter and the first 2 weeks in May was fine then started to get busy the second week with a lot older children . The hotel : It’s old , comfortable but not a 4 star , we have been to many hotels 4/5 stars and magic life hotels and this is not the best magic life . Although I have to say the staff are very nice , helpful and hard working . The rooms are okish , no tea and coffee in rooms but there is a kettle , water not replaced so have yo keep filling up bottles at the pool bar /restaurant . Can be a problem on the ground floor if you have noisy people above which we did . Sounds like they are coming through the ceiling . (This is not the hotels fault ) Food : Not that bad but not great either , can always find something to eat , very limited compared to other hotels we have visited , and sometimes very cold . No labels on food and the restaurant is like a canteen . The outside seating is nice . The hotel in general looks tired and the coffee making machines are awful , keep going wrong and the hot water to make tea is nearly cold , they need a proper hot water container. I would say this hotel is very much for families , we would not come as a couple but would consider returning out of season with family again . We have never had any trouble getting sunbeds there is plenty everywhere so no need to put towels early etc . The entertainment is very poor in our view but that has not bothered us . As we never stayed up late because of the little one . I would say the hotel does lack in safety areas lots of uneven floors and steps not fully marked . I am not nit picking this hotel , it’s a honest review , we have had a nice holiday in what I would call slightly slap dash hotel but some aspects are very nice like the sports pool and bar …which serves nice coffee and cakes the activity pool is ok but can get rather noisy at times with the radio music constantly on , having said that the music is varied with some good tunes but sometimes I feel needs some more relaxed music at parts of the day . We never saw our rep walk around like we have on other holidays . All in all if you have a family of kids they will enjoy this holiday , if you are a couple and want peace and quiet I would stay away .

Carlos eduaru and pili was superb in bodega.theyre hospitality was top notch but at the same time marian AT the wunderbar was quite rude and marian should learn some Tips from marcus.Marcus was excellent he did great drinks for us and he also took care well of us.Marcus,carlos,and pili is the only reason we will come back again to the resort.

When checking in we had been given the wrong room, the manager sent us through to get lunch and sorted it and our cases for us while we ate in the dining area. Pros - the entertainment staff were great and always trying to make the daily events fun. The food was good and although on rotation the quality was always good. We loved getting the ferry from the beach, it was so perfectly located for us. Cons - all inclusive holidays just aren’t for us. There were days when guests had gone down to the pool to claim their spots but we could always find somewhere and as our kids were older we didn’t need to sit right by the pool.

AVOID AVOID AVOID 3 star at best! Entertainment - truly awful ! Actually so embarrassingly bad I felt sorry for all the guests sat watching and my husband who worked so hard to pay for this holiday!! Silent discos 2 nights we stayed, a magic show which was actually three people dancing wearing a magician hat, kids disco spent 10 minutes of the 30 passing sand round! Food - if your child or yourself has any food allergies this hotel is not for you! Zero choice for gluten free apart from a small section at breakfast, the signs are misleading and only half the items had allergen signs! For example no allergen signs for mash potatoes but it clearly contained milk/butter!!! my eldest got good poisoning spent two days in bed! Snack bar has very strange and limited food, buffet restaurant same stuff most nights and limited kids section! Apparently the beach restaurant is nice but there was no space for us as you have to book this when you arrive! Huge queue for omelettes, poached egged and crepes so beware! Pools - on day 6 someone poo’d in the pool, the life guard was instantly made aware. He grabbed a member of entertainment team as she spoke better English, they looked in the pool, laughed and walked away leaving people unaware swimming in the pool! Are around the pool isn’t cleaned, ice cream lids rubbish debris left under sun loungers for days. Mosquitos and wasps - tricky as this is nature! However lots of wasps swarm the drinks machine making it hard to get a drink! I react badly to mosquito bites, so I have to thoroughly hunt the room when we arrive, Cleaners then come in and leave the door open whilst they clean letting them back in your room!! Also a few in the main restaurant area so make sure you’re prepared if you react to bites. Other moans / No indoor bar areas, we went In the middle of this recent heatwave so at nights it’s extremely warm and the only sanctuary is back in your rooms. We had clothing stolen from our balcony!! And the area around the hotel is very very recluse!!! This is a 3 star hotel!! Tui are lying when they say 4 star!

This was our first time in Ibiza and won’t be our last. It a short flight so very easy. The hotel was nothing to look at from the outside but once over the fresh hold it was everything we hoped. The rooms were great, grounds large and very well kept. Staff helpful. The food for an all inclusive was varied enough that for an eleven night stay we didn’t get bored of it. It’s very nice that you can walk through to the beach and we realised too late the beach bar is part of the deal or we would have gone more often. If I were going again I’d push us all to get more involved in the activities. They are happening but the team don’t push them, which is a good thing but sometimes you need a nudge 😁 The evening entertainment is ok but I do think they could make more of it to be honest, good but more would be better. Would I recommend though, yes absolutely.

Wow. Just wow. Lot of negativity on here and have to say that from our experience it must stem from some anger issues from some of the posters (but different strokes for different folks and all that). We took our first foreign(!) family holiday here in June 2022 and loved it so much we returned in late August/ early September 2023. Just to go though our experience with some structure. Arrival – short transfer from the airport which is great. Straight into reception (dark?! – not sure I get that from one of the reviews below – do you want a ring light shone in your face on arrival?). Check-in staff efficient, helpful, some more polite than others. Not obsequious – is that what folk want? Room(s) – simple. Yes, probably not 4 star to be honest but clean. The buildings are low rise and are not new – there was clearly a previous incarnation before Tui Magic Life – and yes, they show their age more than a little. If concrete, sterile monstrosities are your thing then you won’t like it. One gripe – some folk put their drinks glasses on the small windowsills to their bathrooms which are directly on the corridor (which is a bit of an accident waiting to happen). Wifi – not the most powerful but works fine in rooms. Stretched a bit at pool but do you/ should you really need it? Food – we thought it was great. Cold? Not in our experience. Breakfast was amazing. You can eat very, very healthily here. Or not, whichever you prefer. Everything is on offer. Drinks – not sure what is expected. If you are going away to drink then a) don’t come here and b) perhaps grow up a bit. Have to say I didn’t exactly sit down and savour the beer but hey, it was generally wet and cold. Yes, some wasps do gather near the soft drink dispensers nearer the pool(s) - didn't see anyone get stung (or close to it) over the 16 days in total we were here (they have tried to deal with it with covers, but the natural world is so inconsiderate). Crepe stand – awesome! Lovely lad serving. Bit of stroppiness from some customers who insisted on joining queue after being told it was closing (cue 'I've paid for this holiday ... blah, blah, blah'). The beach – first impression wasn’t great. Then I bothered to read about the sea**** and how it was actually encouraged for the ecosystem – crazy eh? Also, I absolutely loved how down to earth it was. One great scruffy (and cheap) bar called Tony’s – landlady will get around to serving you when she’s had a quick swim; great food. Another bar called Brisa del Mar – bit more polished and also great (incredible staff). To be honest, the mix of the low rise; the gardens and the beach led to a feeling of space that I cannot find elsewhere on an exhaustive trailing of the Tui website (not for anything like the price anyway).
