Came back on 6th August , I was dreading this holiday after reading bad reviews just before going about rude staff, too busy , too hilly , complaint after complaint , however the bad reviews are a load of rubbish ! We were a party of 9 , three immediate families with 3 separate rooms.(inc 3 children in all and a mum with COPD) Before we left I saw a review that these are sister hotels, and the steep paths/steps to anywhere in the hotels are bad for anyone with mobility issues . I was then worried we would be separated. Arrived afternoon at Cala Blanca hotel , my family was allocated at Cala Blanca , whereas my mums room and sisters room were at Cala Verdi . The reception staff immediately changed my room to the Verdi hotel realising we are all together, yet under separate bookings. How nice of them. Minibus took us all and our cases to Cala Verdi hotel. Reception there were lovely - my mums room was at the top of the hill, they immediately changed this to a lower room which was just beautiful . I didn’t have to ask , they just did this right away. Went above and beyond there i would say. Very happy start All our rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. Maids were lovely. 4 of us are pescatarians, the food was amazing, fish everyday with lots of choice of roast vegetables, pastas and salads. It’s is busy sometimes in the restaurant , so you either come back or wait if you need to, most times there were tables available . It is clean , nice table clothes in the evenings , and staff were nice. Saw some very rude people demanding tables to be cleaned away so they could sit , the staff only have one pair of hands so give them a break ! Two drinks per person per visit to the bar which is fine , fair amounts to choose from too . No complaints . Seen reviews saying have to pay for water , well you do if you don’t want dispenser water that is free (this tastes diff) , so it’s your choice to buy bottled water like anywhere else in the world. Get over it, it’s only 2-3eruos per litre bottle . We bought a few and filled up the bottles they provided complimentary in our room fridge . Pools were very clean , as well as all the hotel areas . Cleaners were continuously going round . Pirate ship /splash park is in the middle of the sister hotels , I’d say 10 min walk , it was brilliant there , If only for an hour or so to get away from main hotels , great fun and a small bar there too (beer and soft drinks only ) all inclusive I seriously cannot fault this hotel , it’s hilly in places but we didn’t mind the push in our legs , it’s good for you. Even my mum managed with the walks and her COPD. Oh beach is lovely , £18 Euros for 2 beds , umbrella and table, watched the hotel entertainers do volley ball and aerobics which was funny. Be careful there’s jelly fish In the water , 3 of us got stung , like a bee sting . Didn’t go back in the water then but made most of beach day . Not much around , restaurant near Cala Blanca hotel called Feel
