Mikasa Ibiza Boutique Hotel Adults Only

Tremendous location, the room was fantastic, huge bed, AC and a wonderful bathroom, wish the restaurant was open for dinner, but the off-season just started in Ibiza, so hopefully next time!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights recently and we were not disappointed. We really enjoyed our short stay here! It's located in an area a reasonably short walk from the port and the Old Town (around 20 minutes on foot) in a quieter area with a lovely view. The staff were really friendly, the foyer and restaurant bright and welcoming, and the hallways smelled lovely. Our room was not massive, but was suitably sized for us as a couple with luggage. The bed and pillows were super comfortable which made for a great night's sleep, and there are large fluffy towels and comfy bathrobes. There are Rituals toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner and body wash), but not any hand soap, so we had to get soap from the dispenser within the shower every time we washed our hands. As we stayed during the off-season, the roof terrace was not open but the restaurant terrace was still available which granted us lovely views of the Old Town. We are vegetarians so the breakfast options were great as there was some vegetarian options to choose from, as well as oat and soy milk for coffees. It would have been nice to have more vegetarian options on the tapas menu though, although we did enjoy the patatas bravas and the mixed sharing board. The cocktails are so nice too! We definitely plan on returning in the Summer.

I always book directly with the hotels in order for them to get my money and not ***********. However I do expect a timely manner of repayment of prepayments. Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay at the beginning of September. Only after asking after a few weeks about my deposit, I was told that they needed my account details, which I find strange in this day and age - having paid the deposit by Credit Card. Now it's End of October and I am being told that their accounts team will pay my deposit back within 90! days. It is absolutely rubbish service, unacceptable and quite obvious, that we will never book with this hotel again in the future. In this day and age I expect a better, quicker service for reinbursements.
