"Booking online with Trip was simple. The Dorsett have clean rooms and staff are lovely, plus it's attached to the Gold Coast Casino. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel is equipped for people with disabilities or use a wheelchair. This includes self opening and closing doors, shower and toilet set up with aids that can be pulled out to accommodate needs and there are wheelchair touch buttons for opening the door. I showered before going out and it flooded the bathroom, luckily there were 2 infloor drains. Within 2 mins or asking for maintenance they had a lovely young man up to fix it, then another minute later housekeeping arrived with fresh towels. The maintenance man also gave me a good rundown and recommendations on the restaurant's at the Casino. 2 negatives - 1st, it is hard to work out where to park as you use the Casino parking, the carpark directs you where to go but there is no clear signage on where the hotel lifts are. I only knew this from a past visit over 2yrs ago. This is something that needs sorting out. 2nd, the entrance address for the hotel foyer is actually on the Casino entry side, so you drive around looking for it. I now know that instead of turning off onto The Darling Ave, as gps instructed, you take the slip road before The Darling Ave exit. This takes you past the residential tower and to the front of the hotel"

"The service was great, let us check in 5hrs early due to cyclone. Then extended our stay with no problems. Thank you to Cian, so helpful and a delight to talk to. Beautiful place to stay and very welcoming."

"I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I accidentally booked a same-night reservation because I was comparing room types in a new tab and forgot to change the dates. I realised the mistake immediately, submitted a cancellation request, and even called the hotel that evening to let them know I wouldn’t be arriving so they could release the room to other guests. Despite this, I was charged the next day. When I called again, the manager said their policy requires 24 hours’ notice and claimed they “could not use the room for other reservations,” even though I had informed them the night before. I have stayed in many hotels, and this is honestly one of the least flexible experiences I have come across. Very disappointing customer service and not understanding at all."

"Great friendly place to stay. Excellent staff. Only thing that needs attention is the choice of sun lounges.  They are extremely uncomfortable. They are slippery. Can’t sit on them for very long. Towels are too short.  Check out resorts overseas. Padded mattresses the best."

"The place is absolutely stunning and great location if not the best. Walking distance to pacific fair, restaurants at Broadbeach, plus the Casino is just downstairs. The lift during the peak hour did present a bit of challenge which shall be dealt with by the management company and for some reason there is on and off buzzing sound in the hallway."

"I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Broadbeach Residence. The location is perfect, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable with great views. The amenities, including the pool, gym, and spa, are excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend"

"Location and facilities were great. Heated pool and great cafe 2min walk. The apartment itself was rundown, but equipped with the basics. One of the rooms was locked to us, but had access to the balcony. There was a horrific smell in the kitchen (wall?) we had to get room spray to help mask it. The microwave and cupboards were unusable. We would return to Ultra, however, would request a different apartment."

"The actual place once we got settled was pretty good. The only issue that we really had was that the kitchenette was not clean enough. There were little tiny bug/ants that came out onto the counters every morning, or whenever we’d leave the counter unattended for a while. The utensils in the kitchen weren’t cleaned properly and we had to use boiling water to clean everything before using them. When we arrived we had to wait for the room to be finished, which we didn’t mind at all it was only a 10 min wait, but they had sprayed this air refresher so much that when we went inside we couldn’t get the smell out for an hour or two even w the balcony door open and the fans running. Other than that the bed, air conditioning, TV and rest of the amenities were good. The location was just perfect and super close to the beach. And the staff were very friendly."
