Located close to everything, Gas station, food, biking and shopping. Discounts on meals when you show your room key. All the staff and grounds keepers are friendly!

Used the Central Motel as overnight stop on Withlacoochee bike trail trip. Just fine, with two dinner options across the street.

always a great choice… newly renovated too! Great breakfast place on property and seafood restaurant across the street… but go early!!!

Very well taken care of, safe, bike trail right behind the hotel, professional front desk person. It is right by the road so can be a little noisy during rush hour but very quiet at night. It is dated inside but very well maintained, it shows that the owners care. I would stay here again. Will put this place on my list.

We've stayed twice and would probably stay here again if needed. The rooms are nice and large. The main thing that was disturbing was the blinds on the window had no controls on it so it was difficult to close and couldn't drop it enough to block the window. We wound up draping a towel across the bottom so no one could look in.

Wonderfully quaint and comfortable motel with an absolutely phenomenal restaurant in the same parking lot. So pleased with my stay!

The Central Hotel was nice and the staff was quite helpful. It is a classic motor hotel from the 60s. Well maintained and run well. There's not much to see or do in Inverness and the food at the restaurants is Ok. Lots of fast food and very few opportunities for a veggie forward meal. The restaurants in Inverness seem to be "hardy" meat and potatoes style with friendly staff and few veggies on the menus. It's a 30 minute drive one way to the crystal river area so not super convenient if you want to see the Manatees.

We stay here often and love this mom & pop type place. There is easy access right behind the hotel to the 'Rails-to Trails" path and the hotel is always clean and comfortable. This stay, we were only here overnight and had put up the "Do not Disturb" sign to let housekeeping know we were not up and out yet but at 8:30 AM that was disregarded and she knocked on our door. :( i understand that these may be left on doors as people check out but never until closer/after check out time. Please don't let this happen again? We'd like to come back!
