Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp

Lovely safari lodge in Samburu, very modern & clean with friendly staff. Beautiful setting, great food & welcoming staff. Steve the onsite naturalist was very knowledgeable, talking us through the local wildlife & explaining about the local cultures. We saw cheetahs, leopards, lions, crocodile, elephant, giraffe & zebra. Would recommend!

The property on the river offered an experience that was top notch. The service, food, tents were so nice and overall stay was excellent. The staff did everything to make the stay great and a shout out to Victor who did an outstanding job. I want to go back!

I was here for a 2 nights Stay. We were picked up by Dom and the camp Manager Boniface upon arrival. Dom was with us throughout the stay, though being a rainy low season, he managed to show us a pride of lions with their cubs, we had good sightings of Elephants as well among many other animals. We did spot all the Samburu Special five as well. He was very knowledgeable in birds and the flora as well. The whole team at the camp was very warm and welcoming and mostly the camp manager Boniface, who ensured that our stay was good. Victor our waiter was very good. The house keeping done by Silas was top notch. I tried out the swimming pool and I did enjoy as well. Looking forward to going back during a different season.

Enjoyed our stay at Samburu Intrepids. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, especially our tour guide/ driver Dom, the barman Nicholas, and Chef Mbela. The reserve currently has a low game count except for large herds of elephant, but Dom made sure we caught sight of a cheetah and a family of 6 lions. The lodge is due for a spruce up especially the public spaces, but all in all we had a good Easter!

Stayed here as a family of 4 for 2 nights as part of an independent safari trip. Cannot recommend it highly enough,. The whole experience from the luxurious tents down to the friendliest staff and the excellent cuisine was just amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Team was amazing thanks to John and Jimmy for the amazing Samburu cultural lessons and to Victor and Tom for the service. Game drives along the river were incredible. Great food and clean lodgings. Location on the river is peaceful with the Samburu community not far away.

This is a lovely place. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. Our tent was comfortable and clean. We went for a girls trip to see Kenya and this was the second stop on the trip. In addition to a friendly atmosphere, the food was great and they also have massage available. This place is located in the national park and there are many opportunities to see elephants and giraffes.

This is a very nice place. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Our group has several members with special dietary needs, and the waiters and kitchen went out of their way to meet those needs. Very imressive. It's so nice to cool down in the pool after a long and warm safariday.

We loved the hotel. Staff was super sweet but Victor outdid himself. He made sure all our needs were met. Victor at the restaurant was super sweet to our little girls. I have picky eaters so he made sure they had something to eat every night/lunch that they enjoyed. Forever greatful to him. Steve had a Wonderful samburu talk which was very incredible and educative providing insight into samburu culture . Kevin the best hospitality manager doing excellent work with entire team samburu intrepid. Thank you intrepid,we will definitely choose you for our next Safari vacation. we'd definitely come back!
