i recently visited with my 88 year old dad . The staff could not have done more for us at every stage of our stay to make it very special.i am so grateful.

Beautiful setting on an amazing island, the perfect place to de-stress and unwind. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable even though slightly small rooms to get a good nights rest after exploring. Restaurant serves some interesting local food (I can highly recommend the venison steak, the sauce with it was amazing)

The Staff were most helpful in collecting our bags from the quay and delivering them to our room. We booked a sea view room and were disappointed that you could only see the sea when standing (our advice would be to check on booking what view you have full or partial) Food was average and inconsistent for example chicken excellent potato’s raw, lack of veg served with meals, too many plant based options for our liking Room was average and noisy the walls very thin.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in perfect location to explore both the north end beaches and the wild Bay at the Back of the Ocean on west side off the island. Both about 30 minutes walk. 5 minutes walk from the ferry and village shops. Next to Abbey and historic cultural sites. Views to die for, relaxing sun lounge, beautiful organic gardens to wander in - and find the secret bower for a moment of quiet reflection.

Had another wonderful experience at the St. Columba Hotel on Iona. The staff was fantastic; they were responsive and accommodating of our group. The meals were very good and had enough choices for the variety of dietary needs.

We had a marvelous visit to this gem of a hotel and island. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. After returning to the hotel each day we felt like we were coming home. The organic food was delicious and well planned. We really look forward to returning!

The hotel has a lovely location next to the Abbey and a short walk from the pier. We had a really delicious dinner, and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

St Columba Hotel is perfectly situated on the beautiful Island of Iona with lovely gardens looking over the sea. The menu in the restaurant is overly complicated, in my view. Nevertheless I enjoyed my stay and would return to this hotel again.
