Atlantica Princess Hotel

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Just return from family holiday. Clean, spacious room. We had 2 floor family room, was perfect for our needs. Food was tasty but repetitive. Fridges weren’t ever stocked, not even with water which was a little annoying but no other negatives really. Great location for sight seeing. Brill holiday!

Check in was very quick and friendly. My wife and I were shown to our room and helped with our luggage which made a nice change. The room looked like it was freshly decorated and was well equipped, spacious, and very clean, with a stunning sea view from the large balcony. looking at the layout of the hotel, it looks like every room has a balcony with a decent view of either the sea, or over the pool and gardens, then the green hills of the island beyond. After settling in we went down to the pool and had a few cocktails served by Christina, one of the friendliest, and certainly quickest bartenders I have ever encountered. We were staying all inclusive and the cocktail list was large and varied, probably about 14 to chose from? The beer, wines, spirits, soft drinks, coffees and ice creams were also decent quality. Next to the pool bar was a small food bar serving chips, gyros, Greek salads, fruit salads and other snacks from when breakfast finished until dinner begins. So you can get food outside of the set dining times which was useful. We never had to queue for food or drinks for any longer than 2 minutes, and that would have been during the busy times. The hotel was also fully occupied during our stay. Breakfast. In the main dining area, you are shown to your table by the maitre de who was a lovely bloke. Excellent choice of hot and cold food, including plenty of vegetarian and healthy choices. Lunch. In the poolside dining area, again you are shown to your table by another maitre de, I think he was called Nikos, who was also a lovely bloke. Excellent choice of hot and cold food including awesome salads, and the choice changed everyday which was great. You were also provided with drinks table service where you could order anything, not just wine and beer. How the staff served so many people so quickly could be only marvelled at. Dinner. Back in the main dining area, again you are shown to your table by the same maitre de from breakfast. Drinks table service. Excellent choice of hot and cold food, and some nights were themed, including Greek, Italian and Tex-Mex. But on all those nights a wider choice was always there, including the kind of favourites kids liked. The variety and quality of the food was superb, and EVERY single member of staff was friendly and great at their job. The pool was great, clean & safe, plenty of sunbeds, parasols, chairs and tables. Two separate pools for the kids, one which had a large sun cover. Big play area with decent quality climbing frames, slides, swings, goal nets, etc. The gym was well equipped and virtually empty when I used it. There is a well-stocked shop in the hotel foyer selling gifts, snacks, drinks and the sort of stuff some folks forget to pack. There is a rep from Rodos car hire, the main rental company on Rhodes. I have just got back and loved it. There was 2 of us and we had a family room which was good. The food was amazing and so was the entertainment. The door knob on the toilet door was squeaky and felt like it was about to come off. The entertainment team was amazing especially Mo who I liked. The manager was kind and he was there every single day and night.

From the moment we walked in, late at night, we were greeted with warm smiles, snacks and drinks left out for us. This continued throughout our time there, from the waiting staff, cleaning staff to upper management constantly patrolling and making sure we had all we needed. Food was delicious and plentiful and varied, there was always plenty on the snack bar and drinks in abundance whenever needed. The entertainment staff were always on hand getting people involved. The rooms were large and clean and kept that way during our visit. We would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again. Many thanks to all who made this holiday so lovely. A wonderful stay has come to an end. Can highly recommend Atlantica Princess hotel for a future stay in Rhodes. It’s not placed far from the Old town, which is definitely worth a visit. The hotel facilities has all you need. All the staff are highly competent and kind. The areas are kept a very clean and neat. Thank you for an amazing vacation

We had a 10 night holiday as a family of four and all enjoyed our visit. The standout area of the hotel for me is the staff, especially those working in restaurants. They were very efficient and welcoming, by this I mean they always got a table ready as soon as it was finished with to limit any waiting time for one to be available if you happened to arrive at the restaurant at the same time as a lot of others, but we never felt pressured to get in and get out. Indeed, they always greeted you with a smile no matter how busy they were, and if you had any requests, like sitting outside to overlook the beach, or questions, they would always try to accommodate them or get you a swift answer. To quote my nine year old, "They make you feel really comfortable." In addition, there is a wide variety of tasty food that is available, so there is plenty to try for those that are a little adventurous or something to find for those that are a little more conservative. We asked for a quiet room with a sea view and got exactly that. There were a couple of niggling things about the room that took the shine off a little, but nothing major. They were: 1. The air conditioning didn't work when we got into the room and it was only by good fortune, before we contacted reception, that we found the sensors on the patio doors weren't aligned, there was a little pkay dude to side, so it stopped the air conditioning from working. As a note, the air conditioning is limited to a minimum of 21 degrees, so not as low as we'd have liked, but it is understandable as it forms part of the hotels effort to reduce their impact on the climate. 2. The other is the lack of accessible plug sockets. There was one easily available by the bedside table, but the others were behind the vanity unit and obstructed. The main pool is big enough to allow for the daily activities such as water volleyball, water polo, and water aerobics to take place, but give you enough room to avoid the area to swim or have fun with your family. The small pool for younger children seems OK, but we didn't really use it. The slide is small and only appears suitable for children up to around seven years old. There were plenty of sunbeds available during our time there, but if you want to get your favourite or pick of the spots then you may have to get there at 08:00 when the area is opened, but this isn't necessary if you don't mind where you get. The local surrounding area has a few supermarkets and bars/restaurants nearby, but it's a good thrity to forty-five minute walk into the main town area if you wanted to go. There is a 'road train' that stops near the hotel that runs every hour to take you there if you don't want to walk it. The beach is pebbly, and the water is clear and is a two minute walk down a quiet side street right next to the hotel. We didn't explore any more of the island as we intended to due to the wild fires breaking out and wanting to stay close to our hotel in case of an emergency, but w

We had a fantastic stay at the Atlantica princess hotel, 7th-17th July 2023. Our children enjoyed the pool, entertainment and we felt it was a safe environment. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the food/drink. We stayed in the garden room which was located across the road from the hotel. We had access through the metal gate by the pool. The room was very clean and cool with air conditioning. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach and and a few shops outside the hotel. The hotel had a shop onsite which was very useful with friendly staff. We took a taxi to Rhodes Town. 20 minute drive away and the cost was 15 euros which we felt was reasonable. We had a trip on the little train. It was 45 minutes journey into the next town and surrounding area. We had a great stay and will definitely come back in the future.

What an absolutely fantastic time we've had! We travelled with family and friends to celebrate our wedding and have a great holiday, and we couldn't have asked for more, best decision ever! TL;DR version... This hotel is relaxed and fun, with some of the most attentive, friendly and hospitable staff I have ever come across in my travels. The rooms and public areas are spotlessly clean, the food is pretty good for an all inclusive and there's always something for everyone, the a**osphere is second to none and you are really well looked after here. There are multiple activities throughout the day for both the little (and big) kids and entertainment every evening after the kids mini disco. Rooms all have a mini fridge, air conditioning, full length mirror, dressing table with chair, plenty of wardrobe/drawer space, hairdryer, flat screen TV (although we didn't even turn this on once), daily maid service and a balcony. It is a smaller all inclusive resort with a relaxed and fun-loving family vibe. We had been before and decided to have our wedding here this year, we've already booked to come back! Long version... We travelled here for our wedding along with 23 other guests. Some of my family have travelled all over the world staying in top resorts, but we chose here because we'd been before and absolutely loved the staff and the vibe. Even our guests who would not normally choose a resort like this have come away singing their praises :) What really makes this place so wonderful are the staff... they are so friendly, open, attentive and fun... nothing is too much trouble (even when we've just travelled as a couple). The a**osphere they cultivate within this resort makes you feel like you're part of the family. Our holiday got off to a great start with smooth and easy check in, plentiful food and drinks, plenty of space and loungers (even though it was the kids school holidays), and activities throughout the days and evenings for all to get involved in. From darts tournaments in the shade of the poolside trees, to aqua aerobics where people of all ages and nationalities get involved, to water polo, 5-a-side football, yoga, kids disco every night (with a resort song and actions that even the adults can't help but get involved in), and a different show by the entertainment team and other specialist entertainers on some nights. Table service for drinks at lunch and dinner, and even in the bar throughout the evening (which is not always the case at all inclusives). All of this comes together to create a holiday where you can take your pick from simply relaxing in the sun with a dip in the pool to cool off, or getting fully involved (as my new husband did), or any mix in between that suits you. We were a little worried on arrival about our actual wedding as, even though they hardly ever have rain during May/June in Rhodes, the forecast was not looking great for our wedding day... I'm not sure how I'd have felt about getting married in a thunderstorm!
