Belair Beach Hotel

Had the best time staying in belair beach hotel in rhodes. On our first full day we was greeted by Diego the entertainer at the hotel who was very welcome friendly and very funny. Over our week stay Diego had us playing dart putting on entertainment in the event such as bingo and quiz night and more. He would take the time out his day to come talk to you and his personality matched mine he could have a good laugh with you and it wasn’t just me it was everyone around the hotel. It made the holiday alot better having someone like him there and if i ever go back to rhodes ill make sure go back there because of Diego! I would strongly recommend anyone Who is thinking of going to Rhodes be sure to say hello to Diego and make jokes about him being bad at darts

First off let me say that the hotel is very clean, rooms are well serviced with fresh bedding and towels every day. We booked and executive room with garden view, the room was really spacious with good lighting. Outside areas around the pool etc were also very clean, no problems. All of the staff were vey friendly and polite except for one guy in reception who was very rude when we complained. The food was only okay, breakfast was like Groundhog Day, exactly the same every day, I only booked half board so can’t speak about lunch but dinner was very bland. To be fair the hotel made an effort with different themes, ie Mexican night, Asian night etc. but mostly it lacked the flavours of the countries, well under spiced and seasoned. Now the downside, we booked an executive room with garden view, we could have booked a sea view at an extra cost but I’m quite happy to sit on my balcony looking out across the gardens, unfortunately the garden view was none existent from our room, our balcony was 8 feet from a cliff face, when we went to complain we were more or less told tough, you got what you paid for. Also to reach the ‘executive’ rooms you have to leave the main hotel block, walk up a hill past the pool and at 69 years old it was quite a walk, especially as you had to go back to the main block to the restaurant. On the night we arrived there was a thunderstorm and we got soaked going to the room.

Hotel is very clean, cleaners so efficient and changed towels etc 6 days out of 7. Food ok we went half board and was surprised that NO drink included with evening meal and wasnt allowed to take even bottle of water in with us. We stayed in executive suite very clean+spacious but once again missing extras you would expect from 4 star hotel like water in fridge on arrival tea+coffee sachets. Entertainment was shocking! Had a fire show which was great first night then after that Diego was on his own no staff and literally played same music 3 nights and karaoke 2 nights, while he sat with the ladies/girls .Trip to Symi was great Lindos far too overcrowded, Old town was lovely and easy to get too from hotel by bus or taxi.Maybe few tweaks to hotel and entertainment and good be great place.

Recently stayed for a week here, had room 355 in the Executive Suites .. Very impressed with the room, and the gorgeous view / sunsets. Staff were very helpful and polite, cannot fault them at all. The public beach is across a very busy road, and is a shingle beach. Unfortunately there was a strong breeze the week we stayed there, making the beach quite wavy, so didn't go swimming from the beach. Lovely infinity pool, which is the same depth all the way around. Easy access to the pool from steps in 3 locations - so ideal for anyone with mobility problems. No issue finding a sunbed, there were plenty available. There's a smaller, more private pool to the side of the hotel, again accessed via walk-down steps, which starts off shallow and gradually reached a depth of 1.3 metres. Easily accessible bars beside each pool offering a variety of hot & cold drinks (and also snacks beside the main infinity pool). Restaurant was clean, and a good variety of fresh food daily. Rather strangely no tea / coffee is available during lunch & evening meals. There's always fries, freshly made pizza, salad, meat & fish options, as well as a good choice of bread, soup, desserts and more. The executive rooms have a kettle, and cups - but for some strange reason no tea or coffee sachets. I just got these from the restaurant at breakfast time :) There was a male entertainer by the infinity pool, trying his best to drum up interest for darts, and water polo etc ... also some music was played on a loudspeaker by the pool, but it wasn't too loud. Evening entertainment is from the same person, in the lobby bar, by way of Karaoke or Music requests ... there was also a music quiz one night too. The lobby bar, although it serves all-inclusive drinks, bizarrely stops serving the free ones at 2300 sharp - anything after that has to be paid for - not sure why. Pool towels can be rented for 10 euros per person, can be changed every other day, and you get the 10 euros back once you hand them in on your last day. All inclusive is advertised on their own website as having additional benefits including bathrobes & slippers (had the bathrobes but no slippers) and the room fridge was supposed to filled upon arrival with 1 x bottle of water, and 2 x beers (we had 2 bottles of water but no beer) .. Tip - Catch the local bus into Rhodes town, the stop is right outside the hotel. Buy the tickets from the shop underneath the hotel, 1.80 euros each way. Rhodes old town is lovely, but ruined by numerous touts in literally every restaurant, cafe & shop. Cashpoints, bars, restaurants, shops and even a pharmacy are all within 100m of the hotel. Would we go again ? Yes, it was a lovely relaxing break in a lovely hotel with lovely facilities. If you can, book an executive room, it only cost me an extra £10 for the duration of the holiday, and absolute bargain. We booked with Jet2, and loved the extra legroom they give as standard on their aircraft, compared to TUI etc.

The hotel is amazing very accommodating, lovely food, good location from the old town. Nice view of the beatch Cool a**osphere We will definitely come back All tha staffs were good and gentil Diego is very funny and does very good entertainment in the morning and during the evening. Thank you Diego we’ll be back to see you again. N

We stayed in the executive rooms , very nice comfortable very clean . Plenty of sunbeds , swimming pool always clean . Entertainment area wasn't very big played same music . Close to Rhodes , easy to get to airport by bus . We were half board, however we choose to eat out sometimes as the food was the nicest . Great place if you want a break in the sun , wouldn't stay here again . Great hotel for sunset .

We visited this Hotel 26th April 2024 for 7 nights. Lovely hotel very clean and our bed was comfy the bedding was changed every 2 days. Clean towels everyday. We where all exclusive and food was of good variety watress's where so friendly and attentive. The bar at pool had lovely food at lunchtime. The 2 girls that served there where so lovely and friendly. As for Diego he looked after the entertainment. He is so good at his job ...he has a great way with the guests gets them really involved in the karaoke 🎤 . Good variety of entertainment Bingo, darts and water games. As for the music it was a good playlist. We definetly would recommend this hotel. Good bus service just outside the front of Hotel. Lovely pool area.

We stayed at the 4* Hotel Belair in Ixia in Aprl/may 24, friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Meals were good. Evening entertainment was brilliant, with there resident DIEGO, 5* stars to him for Karaoke nights, Quiz nights, he had us dancing, laughing each evening and music was great.
