Hotel Lal Garh Fort and Palace

The hotel is conveniently located within 2km of the fort. The pool is fabulous! Paid breakfasts are available with a great view of the fort. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay again if I went to Jaisalmer.at the start of my trip the ***ager sat down and gave me a map of the city and offered some suggestions which was a nice touch.

Budget friendly, beautiful artistic rooms with palace like brilliant ambience and an super indoor swimming pool, decent food and super friendly staff from ***ager Paramjit to Paramsingh to samer and Ramesh, all of them make you feel at home. You just let them plan your tour of jaisalmer and believe me they will offer reasonable rated transport, guide and organise time saving tour of the city and advise where you should avoid shopping etc. They even got me the famous local pyaz ka kachori and dal kachori and Gotwa Ladoo (local sweet). Brilliant is the word. When I had a small problem in my bathroom, Paramjit promptly upgraded me to a huge family room, which was simply out of this world. They arrange airport pickup/drop at reasonable rate. Dining area at the 2nd floor is another beautiful experience. Kitchen staff I don't recollect their names are so good at their job in making you feel at home. Simply courteous proud people who believe in service with a smile. PARAMSINGHJI who took us out for the long tour to Indo Pak border, Tanot, ramgarh etc is a Bandar of Jaisalmer history and so is their guide Who took us out walking to the fort, jain temple and patwa ki haveli. The staff are so kind and go above and beyond to help you with any request! The rooms are spacious and SO COMFY!! The bed is the comfiest of my 6 weeks traveling India south to north. I had such a relaxing stay here that I kept extending my stay and didn’t want to go! 🇮🇳❤️

The owners and the staff are genuinely nice. However, Rooms so clean are a bit noisy and definitely not for the light sleepers. Other than that, as other reviewers have noted, great views from their rooftop terrace One thing to note is they do get a lot of tour busses in for lunches or dinners or evening snacks. And there is a lot of noise and, you know, hassle and crowd in the hotel due to that. The hotel is clean and it's well located, so it's about two kilometers from the lake. It's about a kilometer and a bit from the fort.

Great rooms,spacious, clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and furnished. Prime access to one of Jaisalmers best fort views from the rooftop terrace and restaurant. The restaurant is really good too. I even got in a few Laps in the indoor pool. Fantastic staff, always friendly and helpful. Their 5 star rating is well deserved.

Ours was a family outing, the stay was comfortable one with proper sevice extended. The hotel has very limited options for vegetarian meals which needa to be considered while planning your stay. The rooms has attractive traditional asthetics which has high appeal. The newly built wing has better room than the old wiing. The staft is supportive and gives service with smile. All in all a good experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great stay overall. I must mention that there was some confusion with the booking dates, but Mr. Narendra Singh kindly took care of everything. The room was spacious and so pretty - especially the lights in the traditional wall sculptures. The restaurant was decent - the service could definitely be better. The rooftop section is great with a magnificient view of the fort. We didn't get to use the pool, but it did look great.

Very good hotel and very kindly. Food was excellent and a nice view at the rood. When my wife became ill they did there utmost best to help us. Help with a doctor, helpfull because we could stay till three o clock without problems.

One of the best hotel of Jaisalmer. If you want to have a great view of Jaisalmer fort , you can choose this. This is the best hotel we stayed in whether it’s rooms, service , food. Great stay it was. We got 207 and 210 which is the best room of their hotel. Try to get room 207 as it had attached balcony which is icing in the cake. Good staff , great behaviour. Highly recommended
