Jenner Inn

The room was not as described. Your site said the room had a patio overlooking the Russian River. There was no patio and the Room was on the highway . The bathroom was in very poor condition and moldy and dirty. We paid extra to have a patio and view . I was very disappointed. It also said that breakfast was included. It was a joke, they gave us a yogurt and muffin.

Great view from Heron room. We brought all our food, so we were prepared. The breakfast we received as part of the room included white flour muffins that were not that great; also did not have yogurt (as promised in the package) since their was no delivery. The place is old and past its prime. Restaurant is no longer open and all the buildings look like it requires continual upkeep.; a repairman was making an emergency room repair the day we checked out. The old decks over the river were not accessible; probably condemned? Also very expensive given other alternatives available in Bodega that are much higher quality. All in all, a great view; however, a lot to pay for the quality of breakfast and the size of the room.

I’m so sad to write this review. My husband and I booked the Treehouse cabin. It was recently ‘renovated’. I was so disappointed. The construction was substandard, thrift store furniture, missing handle on drawer, broken microwave and toilet paper holder, sitting area by the balcony had 1 chair only, renovations done cheaply and shoddy. When we arrived, we were given a bag consisting of gas station convenience store groceries representing‘breakfast served daily’ as a hotel amenity even though the facility has a full kitchen and dining room (closed). It was like staying in a third world home stay. All this for $550.

PROs: I reserved the Starlight room. I did not need a room that large, but I wanted a nice view, so I opted for what seemed to be an independent cabin with lots of windows. The room was very large. A lot of open space. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was ok. Guests receive a large to-go box of fruit, muffins, granola bars, and yogurt for breakfast. The grounds are charming with staircases leading down to other apartments and some flowers and humming birds in between. The apartments are situated on the cliffs overlooking the Russian River. The wifi actually DID work while I was there. However, I only stayed one cold weeknight during the first week of April, and there were only a few other occupied apartments. CONs: When I arrived, it was dark, and I had a difficult time trying to find the office. I wandered around the grounds looking for a reception sign, but all I saw were other guests watching me walk back and forth in front of their windows like some weird Peeping Tom. Finally, I just knocked on someone's door and asked where I could find the office. I instantly felt the heat from the bright and cozy little Milky Way apartment warm my face as the door opened. The guests inside stated they had searched a bit for the office, as well. They advised me to get back in my car and drive further down the highway to the gas station on the other side of the road. The office was next to it. It would've been a 5 minute walk, but it was dark, cold, windy, and raining, so I drove. The large lodge /restaurant building looked both elegant and inviting, but it was closed. The lodge and dining area is closed for the foreseeable future. Only the reception desk is open during business hours. Keys and instructions had been left for me and I was able to get into my room, The Starlight. I was disappointed when a blanket of warm air did NOT hug my shivering bones when I opened the door. 😥 Instead, I stepped into a large, open, chilly room, so I put my things down and turned on the gas stovepipe heater, but.. it did not work. At all. And management must have known this because the handle for the gas line had been turned off (yes, I turned it back on and tried it again, but it still did not work), and a medium-sized space heater had been left in the apartment. The space heater was inadequate for such a large, open studio (600sq ft) with windows spanning across three of the four walls of the room. There was no cell reception in the area, but I was able to connect to the Wifi, so I tried calling the after hours phone number left in the welcome letter, but no one ever picked up even though it was only 6 or 7pm on a Thursday night. I then left a written message in Booking about the lack of heat, no one responded to it. When I checked out, the cheery receptionist asked how my stay was and I mentioned the lack of heat and how chilly it was in the room. He said they'd have to check that out. He seemed unconcerned, so I hope they fixed it.

My husband and I recently stayed here over a long weekend and it was absolutely amazing. We had two gorgeous cabins during our stay and both were well appointed and beautifully decorated. Tanner and Taylor both went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and delightful in every way. We will certainly be back again and we would highly recommend the inn for your next getaway.

Nice room with fireplace and heated bathroom floors. Very quite and 180 deg. beautiful views of Russian River. Played 2 days of golf at Northwoods nearby. Great food in Duncans Mills and Bodega Bay. Great getaway!

Disappointing service-no restaurant, offered breakfast that was supposed to be delivered each morning (box with fruit, muffin, & yogurt). Had to pick up at front desk daily. No cleaning service unless u requested. No additional amenities & not worth $1.4K for 3 nights. In addition, had to walk down 3 flights of stairs to get to room-Grey Whale. No dining options at inn or other nearby restaurants as restaurant were closed from Monday-Weds. limited options if u have a dog. Room did not come with TV or other entertainment options. Would not recommend for price.

Just celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Jenner inn. We used to come almost every year pre Covid for the hottubs . Since they are no longer we decided to book the Milky Way room. It did not disappoint! The tub was really big and right by the window. Nice big bathroom to sit in the tub, enjoy the view and have a cocktail. Apparently this room also has the largest deck and we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on the deck and the show the birds put on in the mornig. The bed was very comfy and also from there a gorgeous river view. Perfect anniversary. We'll be back to the Milky Way room. Thank you Jenner Inn.

The Grey Whale cabin was the most luxurious and beautiful accommodations in which I have ever stayed. Joy, Joy, Joy! The view is unparalleled. I could see the Russian River, mountains, plants, animals, and was located right at the Pacific Ocean. Don't forget to visit Goat Rock Park. You can see this cabin from the ocean side!
