Easy access, within minutes from JB immigration to R&F! We had a very pleasant home stay. The facilities are all brand new. We love the lush clean towels. Service was prompt. Staff, courteous & friendly. The serene balcony view, overlooking SGP Woodlands at sunrise was breadth taking. We could see the new MRT link way. Definitely a bonus for future stay here! Will recommend my family & friends to stay here. Grab services are easy to book.

The room was not fully cleaned up on entering the room at 7pm, and they forgot to give us keys to lock the room door but it was a 2 room unit with a shared main entrance so we had to request for keys at night to lock the door safely for the next few days. We checked in with the owner in the afternoon but the jam coming in was very bad so we had to rush off for our appointments. The check in process was clumsy and they insisted on taking our passport photos that Anju didn't require and a RM200 deposit that was only returned upon check out. The owner didn't register our car to the parking lot and we were stuck at the carpark for a few minutes while we tried to exit the carpark for supper. There was puke on the shower wall, hand prints on the mirror, and dots of puke in the toilet & sink. So I did some scrubbing to make it liveable since we're staying for 3 days. The coffee table also had hair and dandruff from previous user so it wasn't wiped down after use. The bed is nice and firm, I actually had a good night sleep on the bed as compared to the lousier beds at Anju. Unit provided us with cutleries, cookware and utensils and working washing machine which we utilised. Checking out was Abit messy because we cannot handover the keys and the carpark access card before leaving the carpark and 1 told us to handover at level 8 while the staff suddenly turned up at our door at 11.45am while we were still packing up. In the end we agreed to checkout at the carpark exit.. Price wise between YJYQ & ANJU, I would say YJYQ is more pocket friendly. And when I were to bring my family over for holiday, I would book YJYQ for the 2 bedroom join units. We also received a small door gift. 😀 Overall I personally like staying at R&F.

I’ve stay at several R&F apartments so far, this has got to be one of the most upsetting experiences. Don’t know how they managed to get such a high review score, but here are the issues we faced: 1) The person we liaise with on WhatsApp was extremely unresponsive. Upon reaching, I texted them several times and there was no response at all. Waited over 40+ mins and still no reply. Called the exact same number and then they replied me. strange. Throughout the entire stay, they are extremely slow with replies. If you do decide to choose them for your next stay, always call. Don’t bother dropping a text. They won’t even reply you. 2) Upon getting into our room, we were welcomed with a very strong cigarette smell. So strong that it’s obvious someone just smoked in there (despite the room being a non-smoking room). I contacted the staff, for which they said customers aren’t allowed to smoke in the apartment, but balcony is fine. Although its very obvious that the last person who stayed there smoked in the house. Btw, no remedy for the situation. We had to air the rooms ourselves. Funny enough they had a cigarette tray on the living room table (but empty). 3) There were pee stains on the toilet bowl 4) Toilet roll was half used. Looks gross. Didn’t even both replenishing. When asked for new ones, they said each toilet only one toilet roll is given. At least provide us with a new one? 5) There was hair all over the beds 6) Towels that they provided us was WET. first time experiencing something like this 7) Many reviews mention that the “boss” fetched them from customs to the condo (not offered to us) and how quick they were with the replies. Yet throughout our stay, from check in to check out, i constantly had to chase them to get things sorted out. Zero initiatives from them. 8) Dining table seats had stains (presumably food) 9) On our second night, when we came back to the apartment, the entire apartment’s electricity was down. Contacted the same number given, and as mentioned above, took them forever. Had to call and call for a response. As someone who has stayed at several apartments and hotels in JB, if you do decide to try out R&F, go for a different company/owner. This was highly disappointing.

unit hav 2 bed rooms can cater up to 4 pax buyonly 1 toilet. 😆
