Good hotel. Food good in the dining room. I would have liked somewhere comfy to sit, only one hard chair in the bedroom. For some strange reason we had double quilts and sheets on our single beds which made us hot and claustrophobic. Very odd. We would return but only if assured that the beds were made up properly.

The best feature of this hotel is its position, just across an attractive river and bridge from the impressive chateau. The hotel is large with a dining balcony overlooking the river. Inside the decor is rather old fashioned especially the dining area which is not that attractive . The rooms were fine though our bed was not that comfortable. Dinner was good though breakfast could only be described as average. There is a good car par across the road.

Lovely hotel with excellent views of the Chateau in a very pretty little town. Great restaurant with reasonable set menu evening meal and good breakfast. Only downside for me was that the room was not very soundproof and there was a noisy family next door. Would definitely stay here again.

We went 3 times for lunch the meals were superb and the service was first class. The resturant has a great view of the Chateau and the decor was interesting and suited the hotel. We will be booking into the hotel next year on our visit to Brittany and we know we will enjoy our stay.

We cycled in from Redon...have to say Josselin is a very impressive sight upon arrival - the chateau dominates! The hotel is over the canal and our room overlooked the Chateau, a truly awesome view. Josselin seemed to shut early, with very few eateries open late, so we ate in the hotel. Food was fine, service was prompt. You might like to reserve a table as a lot of local also eat there.

Beware ! This Hotel is in a great location and good value for money, HOWEVER, check your room before accepting it. I had room 220 and the shower is dangerous. The tiles could not be more slippery and my partner slipped into the shower and was likely not break anything. She was severely bruised and in pain for the next week ! No a brighter note, the 12 of us sat down together for the first nights dinner which was very good, but to our amusement, the waiters could have been straight out of Faulty Towers !

Excellent visit. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was overlooking the canal and the Chateau.The food was all we could have wished for. The excellent menu changed daily during our stay.

Fabulous position right opposite the château with nice terrace you can eat on. Small but busy bar and attended. We were on a half board and the food at dinner was good. disappointed with the breakfast offering, we arrived just before 9:00am and there was no eggs or bacon left and wasn’t going to be replenished. There was a large group who obviously hoovered everything up but it that’s no excuse! A pleasant enough room but very small bed, good shower and everything worked.

A superbly well situated hotel. Good food and reasonable rooms. However, i had a group of 22 who wished to socialise before and after dinner. On the second night we were firmly told we could not tak our drinks onto tge terrace. On both nights the bar was firmly shut after dinner.
