Hotel Palladium Sithonia

My wife, my two kids and I recently stayed at the Palladium hotel, booked for 8 nights but left after one night. This because we have never ever had a worse hotel experience. This hotel is not a 4-star establishment, it's a family hotel with a nonprofessional staff. The breakfast was from 08.00-10.00 (at some signs it said 07.30-10.00). The first morning of our stay there was no yogurt and no eggs left before 10 AM even though it's obligatory for a hotel breakfast. The response from the receptionist when my wife asked about the missing items was not polite and very unprofessional. She did not at all apologise for the fact that their 4-star hotel didn't manage to provide for their guests. Instead she claimed that my wife arrived after 10 AM. I, who where there much earlier, can confirm that the eggs and yogurt at the buffet table were finished already around 09.30. Of course it doesn't really matter, a 4-star hotel will obviously go and get you some yogurt even if you arrive a little bit late. Later that day my wife went to the reception asking if there will be a refilled breakfast all the hours stated by the hotel the following days. Otherwise we want to cancel breakfast the upcoming days. The receptionist was very rude, not acknowledging that the breakfast had been incomplete but claiming that my wife had been late for breakfast. When my wife reacted and told the receptionist this kind of dismissive response is not part of a 4 star hotel things went downhill entirely. Another staff member (the receptionists mother) began yelling at my wife in a language she couldn't understand and using aggressive hand gestures towards her, screaming at her to leave and finally slamming the reception door after her. My wife came to get me and when I arrived I tried to talk to the receptionist two other staff members (the receptionists mom and dad) where screaming and gesturing violently to my wife and also tells me to leave. My wife is very affected and is shaking. I tell her I will take it from here and my wife leaves. Then I try talking to the receptionist to sort things out. I tell her my wife will of course not tolerate such unprofessional behaviour and will react accordingly. During our conversation her parents now started screaming aggressively to her, and she was crying. I leave without having sorted things out, thinking I will come back later when they have calmed down (suddenly I was in the middle of a family fight) to check out, because obviously we want to leave, I felt very unsafe. We found another hotel and when I came back in the afternoon to check out, the receptionist was completely cold telling me we as costumers have been "breaking the rules" and are kicked out. A simply bizarre and scary experience. Above that, they want us to pay for the upcoming night since this event happend after 10 AM. It is not a hotel and in no case is it 4 stars. Quality/price ratio - bad. We will definitely not be back. Pros: 1. Cleaning is done daily 2. The lady at the reception is kind Versus: 1. The water in the bathroom is yellow (toilet, shower, sink) 2. The water does not drain into the gutter, but puddles all over the bathroom 3. Moisture throughout the room 4. There are no mosquito nets 5. Many things were not repaired, instead you paid the fine for everything 6. If you throw the toilet paper in the toilet, you could pay a fine of 500 euros 7. There are no sockets by the bed, instead there is a USB under the lamp 8. The balcony parapet is extremely fragile. At the slightest touch it looked like it would break 9. If you wanted to sit at the tables by the pool, you must definitely eat from them. They got us up from the table one evening, when they didn't have any customers. 10. The Romanian owner (from what I understand) is not kind at all, instead of talking to us and seeing what is bothering us, he told us that if we don't like it, we can leave (and through intermediaries) 11. The pool is much smaller than in the pictures, and it is not well maintained (the tarpaulin on the bottom of it has tightened in many places) 12. Parking is further from the location. But this is not the biggest problem, but if you happened after the rain, you leave full of mud from there. I hope I didn't miss something. They had a good photographer and the pictures are much more beautiful than what awaits you there. Disappointing.

We had wonderful time here! Breakfast by the pool was great, the music in the morning is relaxed and give you very good vibes! In the evenings there are candles around the pool and you can feel the relaxed and romantic atmosphere!

A wonderful quiet place, with a staff that is very professional and very kind. The rooms are excellent, clean, a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The breakfast is exactly as it should be. We would definitely visit again. You've done great job guys! :)

Lit tres confortable. Climatisation efficace. Petit dejeuner en styl turc, plutot sale'. Petits/grands defauts de conception en chambre et salle de bain, mais dans l'ensemble acceptable. Parking prive' a 150/200m. Proche de la plage de Kalamitsi.

Απαράδεκτη συμπεριφορά, Βρομιά παντού, μπαίνουν να καθαρίσουν και δεν χρησιμοποιούν καν απορρυπαντικα, σφουγκαριζουν με σκέτο νερό δεν απολυμαινουν το μπάνιο, δεν τηρούν κανένα μέτρο προστασίας για τον κορονοιο αλλά και για οποιαδήποτε άλλη μεταδοτική ασθένεια, Η κοπέλα στη ρεσεψιόν το παίζει χαζή και ότι και καλά δεν καταλαβαίνει τι της λες... Αλλά μια χαρά μας δουλεύει όλους... Αν παραπονεθείς για κάτι... Η απάντηση της είναι απλά ότι "αν δεν σας αρέσει μπορείτε να φύγετε " Απάντηση επαγγελματική έτσι;; Δεν αλλάζουν τα σεντόνια ούτε τις πετσέτες,δεν έχουν σίτες στα παράθυρα με αποτέλεσμα να έχει πολλά έντομα... ότι σκοτωθεί στον τοίχο μένει εκεί για μέρες.... Θα ανεβάσω σχετικό φωτογραφικό υλικό με μια από τις πολλές αράχνες που υπήρχαν στο δωμάτιο και της οποίας το πτώμα έμεινε εκεί 4 ολόκληρες μέρες "εμείς έχουμε φύγει ...αυτή μπορεί να είναι ακόμα εκεί "" και πολλά ακόμα απαράδεκτα πράγματα ζήσαμε τις 5 μέρες που μείναμε εκεί αλλά δεν θέλω να κουράσω απλά ακούστε την συμβουλή μου και μην περάσετε ούτε από έξω! Επίσης ξέχασα να αναφέρω ότι οι φωτογραφίες από τα δωμάτια και γενικά από όλο το ξενοδοχείο "" λέμε τώρα "" είναι Ψεύτικα όλο το φωτογραφικό υλικό είναι σκέτη απάτη!! Οι άνθρωποι είναι απατεώνες!!
