Cute, rustic, beautiful, built on a former stone mill with a branch of the river below running beside the dining room in a concrete channel once fed the water-powered mill from the 16th or 17th century. Bed is comfortable except for the Turkish practice of not using bedsheets and the Elmas’s offering of an uncoated rough blanket. The shower and its in-line water heater were challenging, but the tea was taysan kani and the staff was friendly. Like most of Turkey, the hotel and restaurant are not accessible on wheels due to many stairs and few railings.
