Tlou Safari Lodge

Tlou Safari Lodge located behind the Tlou Safari Mall where Kasane starts and Kasungula ends.There is also a Puma fuel station. The lodge consists of bungalows with one or two bedrooms. The bungalows have a kitchen with a fridge, cooking plate, microwave oven, boiler and all utensils. A cosy sitting area invites to have a pause in front of the TV-set. You can also enjoy a romantic evening on a terrace. The bathroom has a bath tube and a shower. The air-conditioned bedroom attracts with a very comfortable bed. So, the rooms/bungalows are really very nice. But what makes this place better than other self-catering accommodations is a parking place near the house! The whole site is new and the garden is not yet blooms but the nice plants are already on their way and they will be lush and blossom in a few years. There is also a restaurant and the food was just outstanding. Perhaps, we had luck, but I have never eaten such a good steak in Botswana as it was in Tlou Safari Lodge! And I have been 17 times in Africa and most of them in Botswana. The food was served as a buffet and there was no waiting times. The breakfast was also great. So, I highly recommend visiting the restaurant. We also booked the boat cruise with Tlou Lodge and it was also great. The rates for activities are not high. It is really value for money! The cost/performance ratio is unbeatable. The personal is also very friendly and helpful. We booked already next trip and will stay in Tlou Safari Lodge but in the different bungalow to have a comparison. I wish Maun had also such an accommodation. It is very comfortable kind of accommodation for self drivers.

Excellent self-catering accommodation at a reasonable rate (for Botswana). Maybe a bit neutral in its decoration, not very African. Spacious units, comfortable bed, great shower, good quality linen, reasonably equipped kitchen, lovely pool to cool down. We did not use the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would could not have asked for more. We even extended our stay! Must be the best self-catering accommodation in Kasane.

Was great all around. Very safe and quiet. Grocery store, A**, and fuel station right outside the gates. The receptionists were extremely helpful in booking so transportation and activities for us on short notice. Would definitely stay there again.

Very kind and helpful staff, they did everything and even more to help me. I thank them. The houses are large, comfortable and perfectly equipped. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, terrace, simply amazing. The most pleasant accommodation experience of our one-month trip.

we stayed in a two bedroom chalet for 3 nights....absolutely wonderful.... beautiful lodging....clean, new chalet....Great kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and two porches....staff were very helpful... book your trips with them....good prices and good safari company....next door to a supermarket and fast food restaurant..... the trip advisor map is not correct.... you are NOT in the center of Kasane....would stay there again anytime...🐗🐘🐵🐃
