The Great Rift Valley Lodge & Golf Resort

The scenic views of the golf course and the perfectly maintained lawns greatly enhanced both the ceremony and our reception set up. Great wedding packages that allowed us to give our guests excellent food and stay. Our whole wedding weekend went seamlessly, our guests were impressed with how prepared the hotel was to receive and host them noting that some were checking in on the morning of the wedding day. Everything was excellent, the food, the service and the staff were professional and polite. We would like to thank Stephen, who walked with us from the first day we walked in looking for a venue to the last day. Mr. Kiama who ensured everything we needed was provided and Waziri who spent the whole day driving us around the photo session venues. They gave us a memorable experience, we shall be back.

Beautiful ambience, close to nature, excellent food. Really enjoyed their services. This is huge ares, you will have your own bungalow, big masterbed, specious living room, belcony and open kitchen. Very quite and calm. You will see some frindly animals.

A beautiful place from the setting, to the rooms and facilities, to the staff. You cannot wrong by selecting this place! The rooms are set among beautiful plantings, the rooms were very comfortable. The rooms had mosquito netting around the beds, hot showers, a balcony, small fridge, wi-fi, and a cute fireplace with a couple of chairs and a small table in front of it. They have a very nice gift shop, a lovely pool area and several dining areas. We ate at both, and both were very good but we especially liked the buffet so we could try more options, they even had a pasta bar. The first day there, they took us to breakfast, and it was a small buffet set up outside, overlooking the valley with made to order eggs! Absolutely gorgeous! We mentioned we enjoyed golfing, so Daniel arranged for us to golf one hole ( didn’t have time for more) and he even came along and gave us a few pointers since none of us are very good 😊. They arranged for us to have a simple cooking class with the kitchen staff and we later had the food served to us at dinner. The staff there couldn’t be lovelier! This was my second stay there, and to celebrate that, they danced around the dining room, banging kitchen utensils together, singing, and gave me a beautiful and extremely tasty little cake to celebrate my return visit! We were sad to leave the staff behind but we left there very happy and wanting to return again! If you’re in that area, lots and lots of animals to see on safari, and you should definitely stay here to make your visit extra special!

Adorable experience in this amazing place.They have very friendly and guest service oriented staff to make you feel at home.I loved their cielo blanc served by washington.I will miss Felix,Urbanus,Eric and Waziri.Indeed it is a place worth staying

The place is extremely beautiful I really loved my stay there. The service is also really really good as well and many thanks to Sam, one of the staff members there for the good job, he made my stay seamless while I was there. The food was good and the rooms were spectacular. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a night in our Kenya expedition (I, wife and 6Y old child). While the property is great, the service is below par. They are insensitive to customer’s needs. We requested for additional bottles of water in the night and they didn’t arrive until morning. Even in the morning, we had to follow up 3 times, the lady quoted some policy of 3 bottles per room per day, and we offered to pay extra. Dining service, especially in the alacarte restaurant, is very average, they used pre-made pizza bases for our dinner, which is unacceptable for a 4-star rated property. The speed of the service is also below average. The number of mosquitoes in this property are several hundred, and we were worried for our safety despite applying repellent. Duty manager and staff are arrogant, refused to take any feedback.

The check in was amazing, very calm environment for business meeting, co-creation workshop and anything you might think of having in a serene environment. Purity in particular was amazing an amazing host, very humble,calm and ready to support. ❤️

The overall if the service was very nice amd fantastic including the environment, staff, room and the food.it was my first time and like to comeback if I get the same business aportunity. It is really a beatuful place. You get where you can play tennis ball and bicycle riding

We visited here with mum,dad and my brother and we don't regret it. Purity made our stay on day 2 memorable, we got a suite with the best view -5060 and it was memorable. There is alot to do we enjoyed basketball, tennis and a heated pool we will return definitely.
