Very very poor experience all i can say!!! Stayed there in January for a week for a friend birthday. From the moment we got in, it was a disaster!!! The room we booked was supposed to be an ocean view and we pay extra for it, but when you get out standing in the balcony, it was an ocean view. Straight away we request to change the room as it wasn't what we booked!! The AC was making so loud noise and ceiling fan as seem it was about to fall down the roof! Since we knew we were to arrive on the Sunday at 4am, we booked the room from the day before, means Saturday. The checking was open from Saturday 3pm!! So the hotel should be expecting us no matter what time we coming in. Plus we sent an email to advise we arriving Sunday 4am. After complaining about the room, we waited an hour for the reception girl to get the manager but no sign of her and we decided we will stay overnight in that room. Following morning manager seen us to be told she was too tired to wake up to attend to our request. She then upgraded us to the Wiradi suite, which was nothing special. The room was old style, TV not working, bathroom stink!! There was a small pool just outside the room but was never ever clean and by end of our stay there was dead crabs and other insects! Food was very very low quality! I got put off by the food as i had flies in my food and after i showed to the restaurant chefs they didn't apologise or anything. When i told the manager about the flies in the food, her response was its a hot country, flies gets in food, so get over it!!! I was shocked by her respond. I was soo put off by the food there! Restaurant staff was the only nice thing. They were lovely and always smiling and ready to help. The seaside is lovely! But you get constantly shouted by the local vendors trying to sell their products. It was getting irritated after a few days when you want to relax at peace. If you can stay to another hotel. Please do so. We talked to the guest relation manager who went to check all the complaint i made in person and she agreed we were completely let down by the hotel and could not apologise enough to us. By her apologising so much shows how awful our stay was, to the point she could not take pride in that hotel. This hotel need big big time maintenance and employ another manager for night shift as the current manager clearly can not cope 24hr to manage this hotel and expectations of guest!
